i don't see to many forwards on this team with man strength. I see Mathews, JT and Spezza. Clifford and Simmonds when they play.

Keefe only goes if the new GM wants a different coach, and despite the whining of some there isn't a GM change in the cards. The end result is the same but the team did take a step forward, they're not going to burn down the front office for that.

I doubt Keefe goes. Coaching staff was fine. Keefe’s winning record and all that. IF Dubas goes? Maybe then but thinking Keefe likely stays.

Realistically I think you look up front at Willy, Kerfoot, Mik, maybe outside chance Engvall (can see him kept for fourth line) Simmonds, Clifford likely buried in the A for next year or gone. Kase likely departs.

Defence likely Holl goes opening up spot for Sandin/Lili. I dunno but get the feeling with the concussions and age Muzz might go here too.

And not sure they dont look to upgrade the net and move from both Campbell AND definitely Mrazek

Because another step or two forward means you win the division and don't play a team like Tampa in round 1. It's not hard to see how progression works if you're not a complete and utter masochist.

As an outsider I wouldn’t fire the coach. He seems to have their ear and they played very well, really all series long. You just got beat by a world class goalie and team. No shame in that. Bad draw, as chelios said

Yup. Firings don’t happen unless no choice & there has to be a better option to hire. When it comes to GM’s not a fan of the ol boys & new GM’s are usually from a team that wins & was an AGM.
