I don’t know what the answer is… hopefully they do.. shanny / Dubas / Keefe. I just don’t think after making a statement like that, and getting the ending that you did this year, You can just say everything’s righty right & next year will be different. - dozerD10
I'd be shocked if anybody said/says that.
I think if the boardroom survives you'll see a handful of moves. Gotta get some cap space and add some girth/soul higher up in the lineup. Our 36 yr old 14th forward is the soul of the team. |

It brings them $$$ otherwise it would be a different team then the Leafs - dmnted
Could you elaborate on that? How does reporting on what William Nylanders favourite movie is, make them money?
Honest, honest question!
Because stuff like that is completely unnecessary, but has somehow become the norm with the T.O sports networks.
The microscope you’re under in the Market must be unbearable…. Vancouver is awful, but a lot of the Toronto stuff is straight up unhealthy journalism… if you can even call it that.
Just comes off as borderline obsessive and strange.
Not trying to pick a fight with anyone here, just how I see it. |

Here's the coles notes for you. Vancouver is terrible and nobody cares about how bad they are doing. Toronto is also a failure. Although they at least make the playoffs. But people care about them so the media reports everything they do. Good or bad. They know it will generate hits. The end. |

Surprised by Gretzky comments on TNT that Tampa wanted it more and went out and took what they wanted.
I thought Leafs played outstanding, exciting hockey and could have easily won this series. I think they were disadvantaged having to play the defending Stanley Cup Champions (2x). But, I thought the Leafs brought the game to the Bolts and there was many times during the game that Tampa was just hanging on.
Not sure about the guys wanting to trade Nylander. His contract is actually pretty reasonable for what he brings. If the Leafs need to create cap space they should look in other places.
I thought Leafs showed great heart and character. They were beaten by a team trying to build a dynasty. They faced the world's best goalie, especially tonight.
I thought the Leafs were going to win. I think they played well enough to be deserving of a win. I think they will be very good next year, more disciplined and nobody should rush into making too many reactionary changes. |

This is why people troll you guys. It's never the Leafs fault they lost, it's all the refs being against them. Every team has poop calls against them. Winning teams persevere and find ways to win. The Leafs didn't...again. Maybe if you just accept that they lost what was basically a 50/50 series instead of characteristically whining about the refs you wouldn't get trolled so much. - jmatchett383

Keefe only goes if the new GM wants a different coach, and despite the whining of some there isn't a GM change in the cards. The end result is the same but the team did take a step forward, they're not going to burn down the front office for that. - joel878

Trade Nylander and Bunting... Nylander for a 25-30 goal power forward..and Bunting because this is as good as he will ever be so sell high.
Also if you look at when Tampa makes trades with their first round picks.. They get Hagel for multiple years. McDonuagh(their best shutdown D) and lock him up. We got Foligno and Giordano(Who was good but not great).
We did that with the Muz deal but lately got away from it and threw away assets. |

Tampa players willing to block 26 shots.
Hedman alone blocked half of what the whole Leafs team did.
That was first and foremost the difference imo.
I'd blame weak coaching and weak locker room leaders. |

Keefe's pre-game speech about 'details' was pathetic. As if they were going to play a pre-season game.
Shanahan, Dubas, Keefe all need to go.
Nylander and Matthews as well.
Bad apples that bring the team down. |
