Ohhh good one there big guy

You couldnt beat Pens in 1992 so break Mario's wrist. (that failed miserably !)
Couldnt beat them in 2022 even with a 3rd string goalie in net, so elbow and concuss Crosby. Problem solved.

Just stinks to lose when you dominate large portions of the series only to find yourself in game 7 because the best player in League gets concussed on a cheap hit and it totally changes the entire series. Pens werent going to win a Stanley Cup this year, but they deserved to win this series. and didnt.

I heard if you say this over and over and over in the mirror tonight, it’ll still not change the outcome of the game.

Just wanted to pop in and say good series. It was a series that I didnt expect. I thought you guys would've handled us in 5 or 6... but we played a lot harder than I expected. Really good series for both teams.

Rangers are a good team. Last team you ripped our hearts out, we made a lot of the changes to get us back to the top. Hoping history repeats itself.

Best of luck in round 2.

I decided I'm having an Icarus Kalishnakov (huge imperial coffee stout) to either celebrate or mourn.

Celebrate it is!

What a game from Miller. Might be the biggest surprise of the playoffs so far. He’s killing it.

Most players contributed in some way over the course of the series. Team win, all around.

Got the playoff jitters out. Now it’s time to get hot and take it to the Canes.

Any idea when that series starts?

Thought Miller had a tough D game the last few games. He's reaching with the stick more, seeming out of position. Maybe because Trouba has been terrible.

Either Tuesday or Wednesday. I think they have to wait for the last one to finish before they release

I had to put my little guy to bed (he has special needs and will only sleep in his bed if I sit in a chair next to his bed) so I watched on my phone I celebrated quietly and my older kid goes you scared the hell outta me. I was like Marcus, don’t say that, but sorry. The my oldest runs up the stairs after I hear him scream I just hold up my phone so he quietly leave and not wake up my little guy.

I can deal with the reaching. Playoffs are tightly played. Don’t want to be out of position by missing a check. Stick on stick creates a buffer zone and his reach is so long.

More the offensive drive he showed that I’m impressed with. Seems hungry to keep winning.

I'm fine with his offense, used to be a forward and that is an extra weapon we have. His stick work has been pretty good with his reach, Trouba in the O zone has been the problem.

The “grey zone” ( 3-4 feet in and out of each blue line) is where I think we’ve struggled the most.

In the d zone, breakouts we’re getting jammed there. In the o zone, the pinches weren’t very effective.

Going to need to tighten that up against a lethal Canes team

One last thought and I'll leave you all to your celebrating...saw earlier that everyone was thanking Jan, let me add a thank you from the dark side. I read almost all of your blogs while I haven't clicked on one of ours in years. Just sucks the only 2 worth reading here are my 2 least favorite teams

Jan is solid. Especially after reading Ryan's. Can't wait for tomorrow's whine fest.
