I threw my back out earlier today, but my little guy doesn't get that so I still had to follow the weekend routine so that he's happy take 2 buses to mcdonalds, note I drive to the bus stop. then walk a mile to mcdonalds, with a back that feels like someone is shoving spike into my back was not a picnic, but he was happy so worth it.

I may introduce some drinking. I had pretty much stopped once we had our first child. I started to drink a little more as she got older but with a 3 month old I haven't been indulging at all. I think subconsciously I just want to always be ready in case of "whatever".

That protective gene kicks in as a father and husband. My wife never drinks, hence I'm the designated drunk if we go out. My kid is 23 and living in NH, so don't have to worry about picking her up at all hours anymore. That said, I rarely go over my perceived limit anymore unless I'm sitting home on a Saturday night watching a game, movie, or listening to an album. Also have pulled it back to Wednesday which is Dart Night beer share and weekends.

Yeah, pretty much. I have never been a heavy drinker. When I do now it's just one. If I'm on vacation I'll usually be buzzed all day. Damn all inclusive's with top shelf stuff.
