They earned the win through their learning ways as the youngest average age playoff team in 2022, on what it takes to win, along with aid from top key experienced vets. That includes most importantly when trailing in games to the tune of I believe their 30th comeback win counting the 3 in Round 1; and the team coming back from 3 games to 1 down to win a series.

The remainder of the way will simply be a bonus if they advance any further, in having already achieved their goal going in to make the playoffs, & possibly win at least one round pending their reg. season results & their Round One opponent. They overcame in the end Game 1's late 3rd period Chytil goal overturned in dispute for goalie interference, resulting instead in a 3OT loss, which also became a learning experience for the young ones.

Shesty displayed in Game 7 why for his regular season play, besides being one of three Vezina Trophy finalists, he also became likewise a Hart Trophy finalist.

Yes I do as a 4 decades + fellow goalie. But not nearly as bad as I felt for Shesty after making 79 saves on 83 SOG in Game 1's Triple OT loss, which many still feel he should have won instead through much lesser wear in regulation time. That due to yet another 50/50 call going "you know who's way" again to their perfection this entire season in that 3rd period's closing few minutes.

I think Braun/Schneider is better than Jones. CAR is going to be a very physical series, not sure I want a kid that’s never played in the playoffs getting tossed in the lineup.

Rangers are a scrappy team. They looked more like pre deadline rangers than post deadline. Need to get back to lost deadline rangers to be the canes

GG outclassed Sully big time in this series. Penguins had so many opportunities to cook the rangers especially during a 4 on 3 then 3min powerplay. As Torts would say, that is one of the most arrogant organizations starting with their two stars

its a major adjustment to come into the playoffs as a young team against crosby, malkin, letang and a coach that has won back to back cups. To win 3 straight and come from behind every game is way beyond expectations for this group.

Beyond being thrilled with winning this series I love the fact that we beat that doosh bag team with those doosh bag fans in that doosh bag arena with that doosh bag horn player in the crowd and that whole whiny city
