If they offer 2 years at $5M per and he says he'll sign if the offer is upped to 3 years and $6M per, you're saying no thanks and moving on to another goaltending target?

I wouldnt want to be locked into the Carter Hutton third year. I would have no problem paying him good money for 2, but if that's not acceptable to him then I'd readily move on to a different idea

I'm always weary when an older guy has a breakout season i.e. Binnington and Driedger. There exists a decent chance to turn back into a pumpkin.

the organization is still very high on Casey. I know we haven't seen it, but Don and Kevo sure like to tell us about it. They like him and they're keeping him under normal circumstances.

Now if PLD comes available (red flag, team #3), I use Casey to get him.
