he most surely did come into camp out of shape a few years ago

don't change my post to fit a narrative as I did not say what year he was out of shape and I was asked why I did not care for him

when a paid sports player comes into camp out of shape it's a big team character flag for me moving forward

It'd be an issue if it was a regular occurrence, He was our best forward coming out of camp/preseason cause he worked his a$$ off in the offseason. Just like he said he would do this offseason.

Yes, that's my understanding in regards to Johnson.

I used it as a comparison to mitts value of a mid 2nd.

Pretty similar to compare a top 10 guy and a guy that hasnt played in the nhl

I don't like lazy players, but I don't believe Casey deserves that label anymore. It's personally why I would like to see a full year out of him and have supported him this entire year. He came into camp ready to (frank) poop up. As long as he keeps that attitude, to me, he's welcome here.

The question was who finishes higher next season...in which both teams rosters are going to change after this off season
If you'd question was which team roster from last season do you like more rolling into next season, I'd say the Sabres.
