Kinda shocked at the return tbh... obviously the Nucks would be clearing Cap.
Murray has an uphill battle to make the Sabres given his skating...improving yes, fit the style of the Sabres... not so much IMO.
Hoglander fits that style more effectively, and his development could be aided by playing under Donnie.
I was never a fan of Myers, but I would take him in this trade. He certainly fits the profile of a Sabres Dman at 6-7"...even though he is a wussy.

I have a bunch, which entices me to look somewhere else.

I think of it like this. Myers probably has low or slight negative value. He's an RHD so maybe that value is bloated. Ok. But if they're giving the Sabres Myers, who plays an apparently premium position in the year of our Lord 2022, and they're attaching a 21 year old player in Hoglander, all for the sake of clearing cap space and acquiring a big NHL tweener, you should be asking a ton of questions. That's a very red flag.

They finally gave up on Juolevi and he turned 24 this year.
