Myers is a shell of what he once was. Unless KA has a time machine and signs the Tyler Myers from 2009, this shouldn't even be considered.

The Sabres should care about bringing in an actually good defenseman. Being paid slightly more than worth is whatever if it's short term. But at least be (frank)ing useful. Be able to defend. Find a defenseman.. who can defend. Please.

it was tony's idea. it was a way to fill the middle rd gap while also picking up a young winger who the canucks may be down on. personally i feel like they wouldnt want to give up on a kid that early for a return as poopty as brett murray, even by using myers to offset cost to clear space.

had they thrown away hoglander like that, so early in his career, its an absolute red flag. and meyars sucks.

It's whether or not you think he can be a good solid D man on the 3rd pair.

Normally, no I'm not, but word on the street is the Sabres are a little under the cap floor. You can always hold salary and trade him at the deadline. Someone is always willing to overpay for a right handed dman.
