We don't care about crime, and we care less about the victims of crime. In fact, i think most of us secretly love all the crime in America. I cannot think of any other reason we allow so much of it to pervade our sickening society.

Good players get traded all the time for a variety of reasons.

Neither his performance (.904 this year on a bad Ducks team, .915 career), nor his cap hit ($6.4m) are red flags to me. Both seem totally reasonable and would solidify the team’s goalie needs for years to come.

He's 33 when the contract ends so I'm not worried about that either
