boss, I like your posts, but when did the Florida panthers change their name to the Florida Reinharts? Its a team game and the whole team has played like A$$ this series. Jonathan Huberdeau had 115 pts in the regular season and has had 5 in the playoffs 1 more then Sam.

Also, Sam was the first one in the scrum when Hagel boarded Luostarinen, in fact the play was still going so I would call that delivering a hit.. Kinda sorta...

Sam is not one to deliver hits, he does take a beating in front of the net where he is often. he is a tough player, just not the way you choose to see him, and that is OK, your opinion.

I saw this as well and I read it as a GM saying exactly what he has to say. It is interesting that he says "in an ideal world" as that might be an indicator that it isn't going to happen. Either way, it's a nothing statement.

The only way that he would be involved in a trade is if we were going for some gigantic fish. He checks too many boxes that nobody else in the organization can check.

I'm really over discussing how tough sam reinhart is. It's just an opinion. Found it odd: to play 22 minutes and be the only guy out of 18 to not record a hit.
