Is he reporting anyone else? I almost fell for the crap on Twitter last night where it was being posted that the Jets had signed Trotz to be the next head coach. I almost lost my mind.

On another note: Evander Kane’s game sure likes its grown since he left Winnipeg. Watching him in San Jose and now in Edmonton, I think he’s turned into the player we Jets fans were hoping that he would have become for us. Too bad it did not turn out. I do sincerely hope that he is able to resolve his off ice challenges as watching him play hockey sure is fun!

I won't disagree with him doing well, but he does have 2 of the best players in the world setting him up.

I'm told their list of other potential candidates include: Scott Arniel. Claude Julien. Derek Lalonde. Kirk Muller. Pascal Vincent. Spencer Carbery. Note: Julien is currently coaching Pierre-Luc Dubois and Adam Lowry at the World Championships in Finland.

As I said earlier, I'd love to see Trotz land in the Peg and it could very well happen. That being said , I do think Philly might have the best chance . I has said his wife and son Nolan were in NY but they are in fact similarly close to Philly but on opposite side of Philly.They live in Arlington, VA , which is not a very long drive at all from Arlington( 2 1/2 hours) . Dauphin is farther from Wpg. I'm thinking Wife and Son trump Father. We shall see. Hope I'm wrong/
