Well, that sure was something.
But to be honest, a 9-6 win is probably better than a 9-1 win. They're going to have to be better for game two. |

Coleman's best game as a Flame. This my friends is why players like Coleman are gems. +4 in this game. We got this. Keep the foot on the gas in each game. Flames in 4. Go Flames Go |

You are correct. Now Flames will play better in each game because of this game. Flames in 4. Go Flames Go |

Had an event and only caught the third.
Crazy poop. I thought goaltending would define this series. Don’t think this is how Sutter had it planned.
Great game. Go Flames!!!!! 🔥 |

Anyone get how many goals were scored with Bouchard - Keith combo?
Gotta love Sutter keeping Marky in for the duration.
Kassian very convenient fall against Looch.
Anderson had a very quiet, sneaky, good game.
Backlund another great game.
Yeah Baby!

100% Markstrom with his worst game of the year and some really dumb plays the Flames don't usually make.
They won't be too cock when in reality they dominated the game.
Looked like Globtrotters vs. Generals until Markstrom gave Hymen that softie

Oilers always wreck havoc on Markstrom save % lucky they have Koskinen and Smith. |

Woody is delusiional if he thought the Oilers did anything good in this game. McD got his cookies, but they were dominated start to finish. The only time they got on the boards was some weak goaltending some defensive lapses. Broken stick and puck bounces to a two on one breakaway. One nice goal by McD with Kane cross checking a D down behind the net. Outwaited Marky.
Stopped hitting about mid point in the 2nd. As Coleman suggested, you have to have the killer instinct and not let them off the mat. He was being kind. He won't say that 3 goals on Marky were pure trash. |

Yes I noticed that too that we stopped hitting them in 2nd period and there really wasn't much hitting. That allowed Hymen and McDavid to skate around people to get in good position to shoot. I am sure, Sutter will tell them to hit anything that moves next game. Go Flames Go |

Well, that was entertaining.
Might be the worst display of playoff goaltending I have ever seen but it sure made it interesting. |

Completely agree. We have some areas of our game to clean up, but can't be disappointed with that effort.

Yet somehow Bouchard was a +1 on the night. One of only 3 Oil on the plus side of the ledger. |

This game was crazy. I think Marky was mentally fatigued from the last series. I have no doubts he will respond in game two.
Good to see Coleman, Mange, and Tkachuk find their groove.
I loved to see Kass turtle. I rewatched the whole Tkachuk/Kassian saga on youtube. Kassian talking about being a big boy did not really age well after the turtle against Lucic. |
