You were one of the only who said you think they'd win the series before the series started. You also said before game 6, after Sid went down, you liked their chances of winning the series.
Jarry looked much better with rebounds and his glove than Lou ever did in those 6 games and that was with a still broken foot. Lou was this year's worst goalie statistically in the playoffs. There are definitely other factors (lame special teams most of the games, dumb penalties, Sid being out for a game and a half and being injured when he came back, etc) but that's the main one. |

I disagree. I think if we went into that series with Jarry being healthy, and up to game speed it would have been over in 5.

Didn't all 4 goals go in glove side in game 7? lol remember everyone complaining about Murray's glove? lol

Pens are a better offensive team than Carolina but Carolina is a significantly better defensive team. Their defensive effort makes Raanta a joyrneyman goalie look good. Your loss had nothing to do with Louie. Louie got you 3 wins. Blowing leads...coming up small in game 7 with your entire team on the ice is why you lost. Honestly surprised Rangers have been tight there with Carolina both games |

Jarry had an .860 save % in game 7 where Louie was .890for the series. Jarry got beat over his glove time after time. |

I think Bluegar should get the bump to 3rd line center and move Carter to wing. We could also resign Boyle as the 4th line center since he did a pretty solid job at it for much of the season. |

Oh look the 🤡 is back.
On a broken foot it doesn't change what I said... He was better with rebounds and his glove. There's already been deeper goalie stats posted here, which you've seen, ranking all the goalies in the playoffs and he was dead last out of anyone who played more than one game, worse than Jarry as well who only had one start. DeSmith was middle of the pack with his one game. So how about if DeSmith played the whole series?... Actually don't answer that just fvck off back to your cave. |

Possibly...losing Goodrow cost the Rangers game 1. Losing Lindgren 3 games cost the Rangers in games 3 and 4...Totally different team when he came back. They had Sid in game 7 |

If you honestly think the Pens having Louis in net wasn't a large part of the reason then I'm not sure what to say to you. Also, losing Sid in Game 5 cost them the game. Pens close it out if he doesn't get injured.

I agree with your first statement.
Boyle, I'm on the fence about. He's old and he played injured most of the season. It's time to play O'Connor, Zohorna, and Angello. Angello's a UFA, may be time to just let him go. Nylander (24) and Bjorkqvist (25 this summer) are RFA's, the only reason you resign them is if they have a future here. |

It's as accurate as saying Pens would have won game 5 if Sid didnt get hurt. All conjecture no one knows |

I dont know and neither do you if they would have fared better with Jarry over Louie...Jarrys playoff save % is worse then Louies career wise and nothing Jarry did in game 7 can make you feel they win with him in net for the series. He got beat glove side 4 times in game 7 with an 860 save % |

Pens up 2-0. Sid goes down, the game instantly slips away. It's pretty clear. Also, comparing the impact of Goodrow to Sid shows you're out of your depths.

Losing still stings I guess. Your team D stinks.. your goaltending is average...Sid..Guentzel and Letang are elite/superstar. Malkin is a no show in big games |

Man, the 2 to 3 mins after Sid left in the 2nd period sunk them. It was chaos with Carter on top line. Rangers got 3 goals in that time span. Pens played a great 3 period and the Rangers 4th and game winning goal in the 3rd was a PP goal.. Just like their game winner in game 7...they couldn't play with, or beat, the Pens 5 on 5. They were udderly dominated at even strength.

We didnt have Motte and Blais...every team deals with injuries . You blew 3 close out games where you had a lead first time that was done in NHL history |

Yes Pens dominated 5 on 5 but in playoffs PK and PP are critical. All 60 minutes count |

Pens missing Jarry, DeSmith, Rakell, Dumoulin and for 1.5 games missed Sid. If you can possibly think the Pens don't walk away with this series if healthy, you're pretty far gone.
And comparing missing Goodrow, Motte and Lindgren for a few games as a comparison, you'd look even more foolish. |
