I'll take your back on this one. Engvall was putrid. Only players on the team that disappointed me more were Kerfoot and Mikheyev and that's only because I expected more of those two.

I'd look at 1 for $1.4 or 2 for $3m - if doable. Anything over $2m/year is likely an overpayment.

For Lilligren and Sandin it’s pay me now or pay me way more later. Dubas has put the team in a position where they can’t take advantage of having young players and RFA contracts. Bridge everyone and pay the max on the next contract. Other young players that haven’t even won a playoff round get top money as well.

The DJIA is off about 12% since the start of December —aerospace and defense companies in the S&P 500 have risen about 5% since then.

The performance of the industry index looks even better if Boeing BA –5.07% (BA) is backed out. Boeing has declined about 37% since late 2021. Excluding that stock, the aerospace & defense index would be up about 20%.

but lucky for Elon his ownership of Space X is only 55 Billion... Me thinks he'll be ok... but I'm just spitballing.
