Korczak, might play 1 more year in juniors, not sure what the situation there is. But Im sure he will be in training camp and we will get a sense of where he is. My ideal situation is hes ready to play in the AHL, Stastny is a stop-gap center for 1 year and Korczak is ready to go the year after.
I dont even consider Kravtsov in any of this, hes gone to me. Chytil, Id like to see if we could get a late 1st, early 2nd round pick for him. Essentially get back the pick we spent on him. Nils is another wild card in all this. - aecliptic
Kravtsov is going to bring in a player tho that you’re not accounting for. If he doesn’t then what the hell are we getting for him? He’s not gonna be in limbo again imo

Laf should be a staple on PP1 starting today. No excuse not to be. That’s priority no.1 no doubt. - TC88
It may be happening because he’s been doing cameos there recently
But yea. It’s time to release him. They’ve babied him long enough if you catch my drift |

Being that we dont have a 2nd or 3rd round pick in this draft, I could see them wanting a pick rather than a contract in a tight cap. |

I wonder if the ducks would do pick 10OA for Kravtsov and idk maybe Nils or something like that. Just get a new top ten pick and say see ya to Kravtsov
Dozer?? |

Yea I just posed something above lol that’s a very fair compromise |

I truly hate being told what I should or shouldn’t talk about on a hockey blog when I’m talking about anything Rangers. It’s becoming a huge pet peeve of mine.
Do I really need to ask permission? Lol. My god. These are viable questions right now btw, we have no one who can win an important faceoff ffs
Not directed at you so don’t take it that way please just in general. If people don’t think the rangers are evaluating things for next season, they’re mistaken
Im quite aware they’re in the second rd of the playoffs - Slimtj100
TJ - I understand and agree with you that evaluations are always ongoing. But I can’t bring myself to start discussing next year yet.
Lots of decisions as always. The only good piece from Blais injury is maybe it reduces the asking price for next year. Playoffs are a great revealer as to what players are made of and what are the gaps |

I was thinking B's 1st this yr .. which we own.. 22 or 23 I believe..
and both sides could add a contract or player they want or need to have change scenery ....

Blais is a RFA, his QO is what it is and thats what he should get. |

Come on, be realistic, no deal involving Kravtsov will include a top 10 pick. We would be lucky to get a 2nd round pick for Krav. |

There are so many times I can’t believe what this board talks about not that it bothers me. Just saying. It’s a ranger topic. We’ve digested the first two games. People have their views and talked about it. I brought Towes up last night and kinda snowballed into this. But the point is WE NEED A FACEOFF MAN. Why it was brought up. These two games it’s clear as day how faceoffs need to be improved
I’m not starting trouble so that’s good haha |

I could live with that
I’ve always liked Comtois, and I know he struggled this year. But he seems like a Gallant kind of guy. Him and Blais would be a monster line
Krav and Nils (because I trade him in every one of these )and we simply have no spot for him…
For 23OA and Comtois. Then they Rangers ship 23 and thier first to move up and grab whichever center they prefer, BCA. They need to get centers |

Obviously would sweeten it.
I didn’t realize the ducks had another first rd pick to be fair |

Unsure Toews can keep up in terms of foot speed and the salary he is making is huge. Plus, Chicago will want a very healthy return for him. I didn’t say don’t bring up the topic, I just can’t discuss that yet. My personal view. Others have a different opinion which is fine. |

Today? I’m wound up everyday
I’ve decided to not wear anything rangers today. My car trick is no longer working so that’s out. Any ideas would be appreciated. Watching underwater is not an option haha - Slimtj100
Last Sunday nite I’m in a bar on
Hilton Head sweating out game 7 against Piggsburgh wearing a loud NEW YORK RANGERS shirt…
Some strange dude walks up with his wife, pulls up his shorts leg to show me his Ranger underwear….🤣😅😂
My wife thinks we need to take this down a notch. |

The problem is its Toews for 1 year or Copp for several years. We cant have them both.
I just want everyone to remember the conditions of the Andrew Copp trade. If we do somehow beat the Hurricanes, the 2022 2nd round pick we traded becomes a 1st round pick. |

As we said then, not a bad problem to have. |

Not a problem short term, but it is a problem long term as we continue to have no established centers on the team after Zib if we go with a 1yr rental in Toews rather than signing Copp for 5 years. |

I want zero to do with Toews after the hawks scandal. He backed the management right to the end knowing what went on. Hard pass for me |
