The hit on Girard should result in a suspension then. The Blues player was never playing the puck at all, only intent was to hit the man.

Was is lost in that entire Kadri/Binnington play is that if Binnington does not give up a rebound there is no collision. So now I'm sure fans want the refs to blow the whistle when a goalie gives a rebound because there might be contact made. Ek, how do you even report on this game when you want players to wear skirts?

Kadri was veering away from Binnington and trying to get to the rebound when the Blues defenseman drilled him and they BOTH crashed into the goalie. Kadri does have a history, so I get it. That being said, I think his play actually has been pretty respectable this year and in the playoffs. He's left that bs in his locker and I think he doesn't want to screw up a legitimate shot at winning the Cup with the same nonsense that got him suspended from other playoff series. .

I have no skin in this game...but I'm no fan of Kadri. Watched this a dozen times and I honestly can't see any kind of intent to injure that would warrant a suspension. Looks like Kadri's eyes are tracking the puck, he gets tied up with Rosen and they both go into Bennington.

Did anyone watch the Pitt NY series? Jeff Carter 100% took a run at Shesterkin and got zero punishment for it. So in my mind Kardi is either just a much better actor than Carter or he didn't mean to do it. I'm sticking with the latter. Game-On!

As a Kings fan I don't care who wins or loses this series so be that as it may I don't think Kadri ran the goalie BUT I don't think he avoided him either. Not a suspendible offense IMO but says a lot about the game today when a player is that comfortable with that mindset. You could tell Kadri had zero fear going there where if this were the 80's the game is probably still going on with all the retaliation that would have been happening.

Kadri is a dirty player but this is not suspendible and maybe not even a minor. At the same time, it is pretty sad that the Blues didn't make Kadri suffer for charging to the net like that.
