Truthfully, I just did not have the same complete level of the guys who made the show. For a big guy I was actually a skilled hockey player, I fought on the occasion, even though I didn’t like it, but my moderate success came from skill and defending well.

The only reason I never made the show is cause I never learned how to skate. 2 peas buddy 2 peas

I noticed as levels got higher the players I though had talent few went far. Size & stereotyping & politics ruled the day. Locally the NSWC & Burnaby Winter Club produced the biggest names. Anybody else usually slipped through the cracks or didn’t have the commitment that was asked of them. One buddy was told no women or smoking when he was only 15. Robyn Sadler a Habs 1st rounder lost interest after juniors.

Just look for the oil slick and you'll find him.

Marky sure got off on the wrong foot. Always thought he was sketchy handling the puck. Oh well the Oil making him pay after giving them momentum.

It’s sickening how the right to “do whatever I want” is the most important part of that nations society.

I don’t even want to visit there anymore.

I had a buddy gloating about wanting no restrictions on guns and how he’s mailed his MP. I salute anyone actually willing to engage in the political process instead of complain and never vote or take part, but it also makes me wonder what he thinks when crazy stuff like this happens. Is it a coincidence to someone pro guns that we don’t ever have these incidents?!

Johnny Playoffs! McPlayoffs is becoming an accurate name, runaway conn smythe. He could win it on a losing team at this rate.

The oilers could still lose to the Flames and he could end up being the leading scorer.

Yeah, good on you for engaging with politicians to try and change the things you believe in, even if those things are (frank)ing mental. No citizen needs to own a firearm.

An injured Tanev and shaky Markstrom...along with Tofoli doing a disappearing act.
Good to see some things staying consistent in this crazy world.

I’m getting Luongo flashbacks. He’s a good goalie, but when he gets rattled he stays rattled. That third goal was tipped, but well out. They gotta go with Vladar you’d think.

It is truly bizarre part of US culture. Arizona is open/carry. See them everywhere you go, it makes zero sense.

Marky can be very good or fragile. Idk why but he lets in a bad 1st goal like no other goalie around.

It's not going to get an easier next round, with the Avs waiting and likely a rested TBL in the finals.
