Voracek and Atkinson had pretty much the exact seasons we thought. No one who pays attention should be surprised by what either did this season.

Ghost was healthy and had 0 pressure. Remember no team wanted him for free. Not one. 0.. Ziltch

I remember when Fletcher paid a 1st and two 2nds to turn Ghost into Risto, and the Flyers finished 29th overall with the league's 6th worst defense. If no team wanted him for free, the Flyers could have kept him along with the 14th overall pick in 2021, and two 2nd round picks.

Conversely he actually handles young players fairly well. He just does not like it when players take shifts off. He absolutely does not care who you are. If you give a dog effort he will not reward you with shifts.

We have had coaches who have no issue benching young guys and yet the vets can do as they please. That’s the opposite of Torts..

Laughton will get more ES TOI than any of them.

What's actually expected is that Fletcher will pay another team to take JVR's contract, leaving a hole at LW next to Hayes or Couturier. And if those guys aren't healthy, Laughton will take their spot at center like he did this season.

Never said they lost because of Bob. But if you look at Bob's history, he has not performed well in big games. He had his opportunities here and did not get it done, see Winter Classic for example. And there were some weak goals this series. Goes down in the butterfly too early where shooters are not in close and they put it under the crossbar when he's on his knees.

I do watch the games. If not for the Flyers having the league's worst PP he would have had another 60+ point season.

Agree they messed up the whole Risto Ghost sequence of events. 100%. Would have rather kept ghost and found a number 6 guy that hits people and kills penalties for 2 or 3 mill. That 3rd pairing would have been much better than the wretched nonsense we had on our 3rd pair.

The Risto Ghost Yandle shyt poop show was enough for me to ax Fletcher. I think Risto on a good team as the 4th dman is a win especially once you hit the playoffs, but he is one of 3 number 4 dmen we have on this team and our number 1 guy has a mystery injury..

No it hasn't been moved out. Many still remain.

The problem is the players, coaching, and management. There is no one area that is just the "problem". These players dont work as constructed.
