I wonder how much the Canucks will have to retain, when they move him this year?

Apparently only 4-6 week recovery time, but once you start getting older these little injuries have bigger impacts. He already wasn’t a super skater…

No way. LE scored on his own net in his first game. He was tragic from day 1. I wish we didn’t have OEL but he is at least a 2nd pair dman still. Dude is only 30 lol. I broke my foot at 35 and played two weeks later. Such a minor injury. I still hate Loui

Best case he has a full recovery and continues to be a useful player on a terrible contract. Worst case he begins the Forsberg cycle of surgery/comeback/surgery/comeback.

No idea, just saying the worst case scenario is it continues to be a problem, requiring surgery, but not so bad he can’t come back and play, before needing surgery again. That’s not the likely outcome, it’s the worst case.

He isnt getting surgery. It’s a minor injury that a young man should heal fully and very quickly from. I guess worse case, while on crutches he slips down some stairs and breaks his neck

Right.

Chris Tanev, currently 32 (2 years with Flames), Alex Edler 36 - had either player broken a foot at an after season international competition while with the Canucks the old/injury prone cards would be all over the floor (52 pickup style).

Canuck fans are such homers.
