To NJD for their 2nd over all pick. - dbot
🛀 🧂
No way the devils are trading 2nd overall for miller. One year of control left, perhaps a late first and a solid prospect |

Your track record on these types of statements is not exactly outstanding. |

Probably but do you actually think miller will return a top 5 pick? Expectations are insane from this fanbase |

I doubt it. Teams in that range aren't looking for a Miller type to put them over the top, unless Benning suddenly becomes a GM of one of them. |

Dallas Stars owner Tom Gaglardi on coaching search and Travis Green : I think he would be a candidate. Travis has proven he deserves to be considered. I expect we will be talking to him.

Really? Rogers/Sportsnet owns a 37.5% stake in the following teams:
Toronto Maple Leafs
Toronto Raptors
Toronto Blue Jays
Toronto FC
Toronto FC II
Toronto Argonauts
Toronto Marlies
Toronto Raptors 905
See a pattern? To expect a Toronto sports channel to focus any attention on teams outside of their profit centre is equally crazy. That’s like expecting BP to promote Exxon or Shell drilling practices. - bloatedmosquito
This is also the case with Corporate media and all the companies they are tied in with like banks/Wal Street, oil, defense, pharma, etc... but in this case the masses yell conspiracy theory when you talk about their bias reporting. In reality, it's the standard with corporate media whether sports, foreign policy, domestic politics, financial, economy etc...

I only have it on for Canuck games and playoffs.
It's so Toronto-centric that it's nauseating. - Marwood
I don't really flip to any channel unless there's something specific I want to watch.
I don't have much time or desire to sit around and watch TV anymore. It's a little different when the weather's bad but spring late spring into early autumn there's so much going on outside. |

We spend all day outside before the games come on at 5PM AZ time, love sitting down in our sports room in front of a 70 inch tv to watch the games.
Now, if I was rich like Don I’d have an 80 inch tv, but who needs that |

I cancelled my satellite account 4 years ago. I couldn't bare it anymore. Garbage on top of garbage. Hard to justify the money they charged. Now I live with my father so it's the constant annoying thing in the back ground as I avoid it best I can.

I can't always tee off in the morning
I have work, union business, family considerations. I've played 6 times since the middle of May. I plan of falling asleep during the game tonight unless it's exciting enough to keep me awake. |

Dude, it’s game seven. And yes I understand, my kids are in their late 20s, actually one of them is 30 now, but they were young once too. |

Meh.
2OA is a dream of course,
But I think they’ll get more than your meagre suggestion.
Somewhere in the middle probably most realistic.
Miller and Canucks 1st for 2nd OA +

Expectation are high because our team needs to hit a grand slam with a Miller trade. Cupboards are so bare that any moves by management going forward needs to be clear wins in our favour. So many missing pieces. |

The only thing the cupboards are missing is one or two top notch players. and maybe some toughness. |

The chances of 2oa pick ever scoring 99 points in a season is rather low. Then you want to give them the 15th pick too. |
