Not really any heavy, physical teams that made it to the conference round this year. Thoughts? - neem55

Filip Chytil puts the game out of reach. I can’t think of him without chuckling at the memory of Trevor Linden dubbing him “Don Cheadle” in his draft year because of the spelling. He’d say things like “Sure he can skate, but did you see his performance in Ironman?!” Levity.
The Canucks could have had him at the TDL. |

Including Cammi Granato and Curtis Sanford, the #Canucks now have eight people in their prospect development department.
On average, NHL teams have three.
Maybe Rutherford got ahold of those plans for management that Gillis had designed.
Allvin better find a way to get this team a heck of a lot more prospects or these people will be pretty bored. |

Carolina got absolutely ripped on the Justin Faulk trade.
Joel Edmundson · $3,100,000
Dominik Bokk · $0 (AHL/JR)
2021 7th round pick (STL - #209 - Nikita Guslistov)
Faulk one of the best right shot defenders in the league and they have nothing to show for it or any legit looking prospect 3 years later. Bokk is back in the DEL after two years struggling in the AHL. |

The only thing the cupboards are missing is one or two top notch players. and maybe some toughness. - manvanfan

The Canucks are yes. You are the only person who I think believes they aren't at this point in time. |

Rod has just taken the offensive creativity out of all of his players.
Florida just had no goaltending all season and then made their D worse. Unfortunate. - manvanfan

The Canes tempted the hockey gods too many times and they paid the price with their first Game 7 loss in franchise history
"Do we have elite goal scorers? Maybe not."
I would say they do but Rod has them all playing a 200' game only. No cheating for offence allowed. |

Never liked him @3oa & laughed at the Habs & now the Canes. It helped to get us Petey after Chayka😂😂 - Nighthawk
Petey wasn't the Kotkaniemi and Hayton, that was Hughes. Petey was the Makar year. |

Miller was traded for in the 19-20 season. Van could have given up the 10th pick in that draft. From that 2019 draft there is only 1 player with more career points than Miller had last season. Jack Hughes.
That shows the immediate impact Miller can make for an organization trading for him.
Better than Hayton at 5oa
2oa pick might seem a bit rich from a cap stand point but Kappo Kakko is now an RFA with 58 career points.
3oa pick Kotkaniemi signed an OS and an extension at 4.8M for 8 years 91 career points.
3-4 seasons in and no one can say that Miller isn't worth way more than those 2 now. |

No one is arguing this. It depends on whether the deal works for JR & PA. I like that they're willing to do their due diligence and make non-emotional decisions on players. I'm indifferent on whether he stays or goes.

K-man was saying we are overvaluing Miller yesterday.
I think the non-emotional decision is to take the best offer at the draft. Hopefully it is a tad bit better than NYR 1st, Chytil and Lundkvist. That Rangers pick would now suck. At least at the draft, you know what you are getting. |

That NYR trade proposal seems weak, insist on Schneider maybe? Or move on. VAN will have lots of bidders for JTM, which is a good thing. A deal at the draft makes sense, even if just for the meltdown in here and Twitter.

If I had to place that deal out of 10, 10 getting it done. I'd say probably a 7/10
If they would have give another prospect, Cuylle, Othmann, Kratsov, Jones, Robertson. It would have been easily accepted.
Rangers just did lose their 1st rounder though to Winnipeg for Copp.
Hopefully Canucks it's a bunch of picks so New York flips his poop. |

I just read Pronman's top 127 and I made it to pick 68 or something and was so annoyed at the garbage I was reading. I apologized to my friend for logging back into his account and asked him to change his password and never let me back on again. |

It won't be a deal to NY now. Copp has been ppg. He cost a 1st and 2nd. Ranger dream is dead |
