It won't be a deal to NY now. Copp has been ppg. He cost a 1st and 2nd. Ranger dream is dead - Jkuzzi
Copp has been good for them. He was better than his stats in Wpg too. He's Van's Garland but 5 inches taller and 30 pounds heavier. |

Bo Horvat's contract extension since Miller is being traded.
Other centres in that range include players like Kevin Hayes ($7.14 million), Brayden Schenn ($6.5 million), and Ryan O’Reilly ($7.5 million). Horvat’s true value likely lands somewhere in between Schenn and O’Reilly.
From Canucksarmy.
Kevin Hayes is seriously overpaid. Brayden Schenn has more hits in the playoffs than Bo has over 82 game season. (sarcasm but almost true) Bo is nowhere near a top 5 selke candidate every year. Doesn't even get a Selke vote. He's not between Schenn and O'Reilly he's below both.
RNH just took an 8 year deal at 5.125. That's probably the best comparable for Bo right now. I'd lock him up 6M for 6 or 7 years max. |

Heck, I was reluctant to start with a 6. Maybe BC taxes forces them to pay that bit extra. |

Carolina got absolutely ripped on the Justin Faulk trade.
Joel Edmundson · $3,100,000
Dominik Bokk · $0 (AHL/JR)
2021 7th round pick (STL - #209 - Nikita Guslistov)
Faulk one of the best right shot defenders in the league and they have nothing to show for it or any legit looking prospect 3 years later. Bokk is back in the DEL after two years struggling in the AHL. - manvanfan

I would say they do but Rod has them all playing a 200' game only. No cheating for offence allowed. - manvanfan

Somebody better tell Rutherford that you can suck at possession and depend on your goalie more than any other team and still win games. - manvanfan
He doesn’t want to only rely on Demko. More ways of playing styles to suit match ups.
Funny how so many ppl said we sucked in the bubble playing a system that we relied Demko 100%. It found success after all. |

That NYR trade proposal seems weak, insist on Schneider maybe? Or move on. VAN will have lots of bidders for JTM, which is a good thing. A deal at the draft makes sense, even if just for the meltdown in here and Twitter. - VanHockeyGuy
Othmann & Cuylle are prime prospects too. A package haul could include either or both. |

If I had to place that deal out of 10, 10 getting it done. I'd say probably a 7/10
If they would have give another prospect, Cuylle, Othmann, Kratsov, Jones, Robertson. It would have been easily accepted.
Rangers just did lose their 1st rounder though to Winnipeg for Copp.
Hopefully Canucks it's a bunch of picks so New York flips his poop. - manvanfan
I’m real cold on Kravtsov now. Reviews raise big alarms. |

Say we swing a Miller to NYR then go for Copp with them in a cap crunch? A haul & a great UFA piece 👍 |
