Yea he has some serious insight there. Pivotal member of that team.

I still remember all the people coming on this thread laughing when they signed Goodrow to that contract. Tonight was exactly why they gave him the money. Dude is a warrior and a champion

If, nothing valuable is arranged, I will accept…

Panarin, Chytil, Copp (Copp taking the faceoffs)

Next season as our starting 2nd line.

I just don’t get it, the kid is 22 and really coming into his own. I’ve been saying it for the past few years now, he’s going to be a 60-65 point player in a few years. Trade him and it will be trading JT Miller all over again.

Don’t think you have to worry about it. The chatter is all fan driven. Don’t think the front office ever was serious about moving him, and won’t be now going forward

Did I think it was a bit much? Admittedly yes, I didnt want to go more than 3m. But was I massively bumhurt? No. We brought in one of the best depth players in the league.

The one guy is Trouba, there wasnt many people too thrilled about that contract.

He’s finally finishing. That’s all it was. It wasn’t a mirage how little he scored this year lol. He’s picking corners and finding holes to shoot at now. Next is Kakko. He does the same thing. It’s like he gets and shoots it, doesn’t look for a spot. He’ll get better.

For the record, he can stay and it’s good comparison to Miller

The only chatter apparently was for the JT Miller trade.

Deangelo sure seemed to get a lot of love from his former teammates during the handshakes. Like I said, he wasn’t a locker room problem, it was about him and Quinn and management backed Quinn. Unfortunate we didn’t get anything back for him but he didn’t have a spot here anyway with baby-Trouba in the pipeline.

I dont think so because JT’s only issue was scoring. JT was good defensively, on faceoffs and possession…all of which Chytil is questionable on. Well, theres nothing questionable about Chytil on faceoffs, hes atrocious.

Im not interested in the blip, I want consistency.

He was definitely a problem QB for Carolina’s powerplay this entire series.

Absolutely COMPLETELY INEFFECTIVE. The Rangers purposely gave him all the time and space in the world all series to handle the puck on the right power play point and he did absolutely NOTHING.

I wasnt the one to bring up the Chytil thing. I admittedly am happy to see him produce, however, it doesnt totally close the door on my feelings.

Everyone is on the “what have you done for me lately bandwagon” where Im on the, I havent forgotten the 82 other games.

I think you some an apology man. You’ve been a pretty awful fan this week

Especially Trouba. All you do is focus on that one play he may screw up instead of the other 30 minutes he’s played. He is the one who turned this series in our favor. Like literally in game 3 he did

And I wasn’t the biggest fan of Trouba but I give credit where credit is due. Same with Chytil

- Slimtj100

I was critical of their bad games. That doesn’t mean I’m being an awful fan. I still don’t think trouba is good.

Zib and Kreider all showed up. Panarin got better over the series. Chytl Laf and Kakko all contributed. All I want to see is effort. That didn’t exist in games 3 and 4 last series or game 5 this series where I was the most critical

Also that Kreider stat is insane. He is tied for 2nd all time in NHL history with 15 goals in games where your team is facing elimination. That’s clutch man
