Oustanding offside call by the war room too. Nothing to see there. Usually Gary waits until game 6-7 to make those calls but starting early. Well done Gary!!!!

The right call was made. Perhaps you should learn the rules |

I was playing golf yesterday when on the 10th hole I found a left handed gap wedge on the green, one of the guys in front of us I noticed was a lefty, so, I took it to them on the next hole.
After the round I was on the outside patio having a beer and they were sitting next to me, so we started chatting. I said to him “you look like the hockey player J.J. Daigneault”. I then notice he has a Coyotes alumni hat on….it was J.J. Daigneault. They were speaking French so a bit of a giveaway.
Anyway, we had a good chat for about 30 minutes as we know a few of the same people. |

You guys talked about your failed junior career?
Or maybe that Marc Savard would make a good asst coach for the Canucks and to learn under Boudreau? |

Failed…I had a very successful junior career. Winning the memorial cup gets your name into the HHOF |

Didn't Cole Cassels also win a memorial cup? Plus I edited it after. |

It was a goal. Maybe the most perfect timed goal in history but it was. - manvanfan
It's wild to me how infuriated people are over a single call in an 8-6 game
It's a good goal. A gray area rule but they made the right call imo |

I'm not a fan of the rule. I feel as if an offside should be an offside and the puck shouldn't be allowed to enter back in till all players are clear. It would affect other parts of the game like dump ins in that situation also though.
Probably make it a nice cluster (frank) at blue lines a lot, some turnovers, bad line changes. |

I saw someone make the case that people should be in favour of the rule because it promotes fewer stoppages of play, but it seems so rare that I'm not sure it would ever really have an impact.
It reminds me a bit of the kicked goal in the Calgary series. By definition they got the rule right, but the rule is stupid and should be abolished. |

On the NA draft rankings almost all the D at the top are LH. European there's a handful of RHD, not a lot. No second round pick doesn't help.

18, 19, 20 and 24 all right handed in NA. It would be nice to snag one of them to go BPa in the first round but if they trade down like Ruby had posted. Could easily picked up one of them. |

He is one of the kids I have been following, along with Tristan Luneau, Lian Bischel and Owen Pickering.
I would be happy with any of them, but would prefer a trade up for Jiricek.
Edit, if they were to trade down, a couple centres to consider, Gaucher and Bystadt |

Andy likes to pump the tires of all Q kids.
If you could easily grab him mid 2nd, I'd go for it. Otherwise I would say you are probably leaving some better players on the board to draft for need. If Van had a mid 2nd. |

Problem is we don't have a 2nd (yet). I'd be hip for a trade down.

As I said before depending on who's available when they are on the clock at 15. Van still needs more top talent and not more depth players.
Ideally if you could trade Miller for a top 20 first round pick and a second round, trade down with one of the firsts and pick twice in the first round and twice in the 2nd round. |
