I'm not a fan of the rule. I feel as if an offside should be an offside and the puck shouldn't be allowed to enter back in till all players are clear. It would affect other parts of the game like dump ins in that situation also though.

Probably make it a nice cluster (frank) at blue lines a lot, some turnovers, bad line changes.

Honestly just do away with the bluelines period and make the centerline wider, you'd have less dump outs and dump ins and players would actually have to play the puck and pass it properly instead of goal sucking waiting for that breakaway pass. You'd only need 1 linesman at that point and it would give more ice to players instead of officials.

The game doesn't need to change that much.

The point is to eliminate as much controversy as you can, after they took away the two-line offside pass, it basically made the bluelines useless anyways. At least if you got rid of the neutral zone, you wouldn't have players wrecking their hips and groins trying to stay onside or players dumping the puck out of the zone or into the zone. It makes skating and passing and puck handling skills, skills which aren't taught or emphasized as much as defensive awareness and positioning nowadays. It's better than when it was in the dead puck era but that's not saying much.

I had a fawn born in my side yard this morning, it's the 3rd one that I know about that's been born in my yard.

I had to untangle a very young fawn out of my barbwire fence a few years ago. The ground around it was rubbed bare from it flailing for what I assume was since early morning(about 6 hours). It just laid there motionless after. I got a turkey baster full of water and gave it a squirt and it drank greedily so I knew it was just doing the fawn thing and laying still. After I went back to the house I heard it's mother nearby snorting away and the fawn started bleating. I went back out there a few minutes later and the fawn was gone. A successful rescue story.

I went and grabbed the bolt cutters and cut away that section of fence since it was a game trail crossing in that corner of my property. No more issues...

The right call was made. Perhaps you should learn the rules
- LeftCoaster

lol funny I've been playing as long as you have and in every decade that's offside. Guess in the modern decades it changes a bit lol

Sure if the puck rolled in on it's own without Makar pushing it in the Avs player can tag up and all good. But Makar literally pushes the puck over the line on entry with the Avs player a foot offside...then the puck 'bounces' a bit and they call it no control. Even Bieksa was embarrassed and couldn't comment. While all the other analysts including Maclean 'normalized' the call. Brutal and embarrassing. But hey...it's nice to hear Flames fans talk about 'Karma' anyways lol. Pretty basic Hockey stuff bud

How's your case of the 'Long Bennings' coming along?

All good?...healing up?

Man, there has to be a treatment for it?

It was a goal. Maybe the most perfect timed goal in history but it was.

Harder when you are giving away picks all the time but I think there will be some good depth pieces down the line from the past few drafts, just going to have to wait 5 years.

It's a pretty basic rule that you can't seem to understand

Didn't Cole Cassels also win a memorial cup? Plus I edited it after.
- manvanfan

I never won the memorial cup, would have been cool if I did.

Did you? He's playing for a pretty good team if he did, regardless of his role.

edit: hell I never played for one

You know what the long Bennings are ? No 1st round prospects, OEL' contract Boeser's QO.

Is that enough?
