Depending?
Easier to depend on him less when the puck isn't in your zone
But yes, they need more sandpaper. Myers isn't really sandpaper, though. OEL still just a dumb trade - NewYorkNuck
Ideally one of them get's moved.

It's still not over but I like the Rangers game. I'm sure JR PA & Co are looking how their built. - VanHockeyGuy
You could say it's a fluke the Rangers are where they are. If Pitt didn't have to play their 3rd stringer for half the series. If Carolina didn't have to play their injured back up or 3rd stringer. Would they have gotten to game 7 and won both? Who knows.
They are sure taking advantage of it now though. |

When you don't care who wins it's fun hockey to watch.

Crosby was killing them until the Trouba 'accidental' knock to Crosby's head. Good to see Tampa getting a little taste of their own medicine but I wouldn't count them out of the series just yet. Rangers have had some big help along the way but still are playing good systematic Hockey. |

I corrected the auto correct after.
I wanted Severson years ago and took a longer look. I had overrated him by a bit. I'd put him in a same tier as Myers but different player.
Yeah OEL as a player and OEL with his contract are just too far apart. Another win now trade made by Benning unfortunately. Far too many of them had been made. |

I dislike all the teams left. I've watched most of the Rangers- Lightning series but only a period of Avs- Oil. |

Rangers certainly had some luck early on in the playoffs, but I also think the rangers have drastically improved with each series.
Rangers had zero playoff experience and Igor was noticeably nervous in that first round. They are just a different, significantly better, team right now than the start.
If you put the current rangers up against Pitt again, doubt it goes 7. |

I’m undecided, are the Rangers playing that good, or, is Tampa playing that bad after a ten day layoff?
K’Andre Miller looks good. Great pick for them. Can’t believe Hextall took Jay O’Brien instead of K’Andre Miller….IDIOT!! - LeftCoaster

Out of the final four teams, they were 38.9% percentage of expected goals for vs goals against or something. Lowest out of all playoff teams. |

Rumor on Twitter, interesting...
"JT Miller and 15th overall for 2nd overall, Paval Zacha, Ty Smith and Damon Severson." - VanHockeyGuy
The second overall and 15th overall will be very close to the same players in the end. Zacha sucks balls, Severson is soft as baby poo and Smith had a very meh season. If Smith turned out to be a stud it wouldn’t be a bad deal but why would NJ do that when they already have defensive issues? Doesn’t seem like a legit trade to me. |

The Rangers power play been heating up as well. They certainly look better in the first 2 games of this series. |

It’s easy to say now but Patrick was rated one or two and anyone who is picking in the number two spot is picking him. You’re just cherry picking. |

And I love that people think things will be different with JR/PA while FA is still the owner and has stated many times he wants playoff revenue. The only difference now is that they've all agreed not to spend to the cap to do it so we'll have to make do with retreads and reclaimation projects and players on ELCs and pray to god they outperform their contracts. |

Many people have confirmed that all of Philly’s scouts had Makar as the pick but Hextall over ruled them all and took Patrick. |

Have to save money somewhere for all the staff they have now.
I do think things are different with Abbotsford being down the road. Bringing in more help. More analytics. An actual contract negotiator. I don't mind the occasional reclamation project for the right cost which means Vantel cheap. |

1990 has to be the biggest misses for the Canucks in their history. Nedved over Jagr and Antoski over Tkachuk or Brodeur |
