lol we currently have a fan base that wants to trade our best player for this 'big haul' and possibly set the club back 5-10 more years. But that's ok so the whining can continue.
- LordHumungous
What do you do with JTM if you can't agree on a number which works for the team?
Trade him this summer, or as a playoff rental at the TDL? |

Kidding. You are with this post to scrolls for years.
I had noticed some of the players during the combine testing are not as big as some of the posted heights on other websites, including their teams. Kemell I've seen listed at 5'11" is only 5.9.5" |

All depends on his price and what other teams are willing to offer. It’s not a unilateral thing. |

That has to be some of the most off the wall rankings. Those rankings make Corey Pronman's 2017 rankings look good. Pronman had Makar @ 13 Heiskanen @ 16 and Pettersson @ 18.
Owen Tippett @ 3 Elli Tolvanen @ 4 and Klim Kostin @ 5 Gabriel Vilardi @ 6.
Two of those guys are struggling to make the NHL and two of those guys are struggling in the NHL. |

I don't even know who that guy is? I go with Central Scouting & Bob McKenzie.

Rankings are varied a lot across the board this year. Not a great draft. There will be many guys that slide and many that jump way up because the team picking wants them. Example is Geekie. Some have him top three and others in the twenties. It’ll be wild. |

Bob doesn’t rank he just does a consensus. Takes a bunch of scouts rankings and gives each a score and comes out with his list. A lot of these guys are wrong a lot because they are trying to look smart and do something different. |

Corey Pronman "the draft guru".... you don't know who that is? The Laine over Matthews guy. Writes for the Athletic, previously ESPN. The guy is just the worst but you have to pay to see his poop.
He must be rubbing off on Wheeler's rankings there. |

I know, that's why I compare his rankings with central scouting to get a general idea. If it's a weak draft, look at trading down if your guys still on the board. |

I think the only rankings that are really varying about this draft is the internet crews.
Coyotes GM Armstrong said he liked the draft and felt it had good depth.
It's obviously missing a couple generational talents at the top but I mean how often are you getting 3 or 4 CHL PPG CHL defenders in the same draft. Normally the euro players aren't this strong nor have the depth of this class.

Central scouting really needs to do away with their separation of North American and international players. Quit being pussies and come out with one list already. |

In the short term, sure, if it makes them better for the long term. The Canucks ain't winning poop with their current lineup. - NewYorkNuck
When was the last time the canucks had 3 good centers with 30 goal seasons? So let’s trade them lol |
