We need toughness, speed, grit, Players that will fight for each other what have you. What we don't need is the dirty nature/stigma Kadri brings. We've done the whole Kesler/Burrows thing. Many ways to get top end tough talent without going down the Kadri road IMO. But having said that ironically watching videos of Matthew Barnaby today that guy was a mountain of entertainment lol.

Yeah, Burnaby was a jerk but so entertaining and had some talent and toughness to back it up. I loved having Torres on our team and he was 100 times more dirty than Kadri. Same goes with Maxim Lapierre. Got to have that rat-factor to get under the other teams skill. More Tom Wilson please.

This is why the league is a joke. 1 game for taking a top player out of the round. Why don't more players do it?
- Retinalz

Crosby did almost the exact same thing to one of the Ranger players, it was on Twitter side-by-side GIF, he never even got a penalty. You can’t suspend someone based on injury. That said, it was a dirty play by Kane.

Big blow for the avalanche.

“Avalanche star, Nazem Kadri had surgery to repair an injured thumb sustained in the hit by Evander Kane early in game 3. Kadri is unlikely to be available for the remainder of the postseason, but isn’t being ruled out officially.”

Kadri will be fine, SC rings don't go on thumbs anyway.

Glad to see these teams recognize they don’t know the first thing about defensive hockey and just go for it

Play by play and color commentator don't have a clue about the rule. Goal was not high stick. Playing the puck might have been but that's not reviewable. Moron homers...
