Welp, that was fun. Suck it Lordy!!!!!! - Load Management
If the Oilers had even a decent goalie they’d be dangerous.
I’d take a chance on one of Seattle’s over paid tandem. Especially if you could get one of them for next to nothing. Grubauer was one of the worst goalies in the league this year, bet he bounces back, especially on a better team. |

Happy belated birthday Minivan 🎈 🎉 🎈 - 1970vintage
Thanks Man.
I was scrolling through the comments and saw your comment about lack of defence being played. Thought I would check the score. Last time I had a moment to look it was 3-1 and then was 5-5. Saw the OT goal at least. |

Stuart Skinner probably goes 50/50 with Smith next season if he can hold his own. |

Grubauer is an AHL starter goalie that was masked by a very good Avalanche team. Having to play for a very bad Seattle team, then yeah, it's no wonder that he sucks. The Oilers would be far better off trying to steal Georgiev from the Rangers, when Shesterkin went down, he played just as good as Shesterkin did. |

Colorado just hit perfect timing with cheap contracts and everyone booming at the same time. I wonder how many take a "discount" to stay for years. Also guys like Nuchushkin and Burakowsky would probably get large contracts as free agents even though they are both 3rd wheels pretty much. |

If they try and come back without addressing their goaltending the whole team will ask for a trade. |

He was always a decent goalie - got propped up by the Avs, and now on among the worst teams in the league. Put him in a better situation I bet he bounces back. Plus Seattle would probably throw in a sweetener to get rid of him |

Chicago were smart to trade off a few and keep the core together though. Blackhawks were also drafting well. Colorado doesn't have a draft pick on their team outside the first round of their own. |

Teams will soon be bidding for all of Benning's good young depth players. |

Management can’t be to happy with Kane, what a dumb play when you have momentum. |

The pacific is garbage, they almost lost to the kings and marky couldn’t save a beach ball, the flames lacked intensity for some reason, I expected a better series out of them but they sucked. |

This is might be as good as this current Oilers team gets. Only 7.1 mil in cap space and 15 players signed. Kane UFA, Yamamoto and Pullmyharvey RFAs. No backup and nobody is giving them a real starting goalie and if they did, how do they afford it? Bouchard is getting paid big bucks year after next as well. Too top heavy in contracts and wasted cap space. Enjoy 9mil + Nurse and 7 more years of useless Nuge. |

Crosby did almost the exact same thing to one of the Ranger players, it was on Twitter side-by-side GIF, he never even got a penalty. You can’t suspend someone based on injury. That said, it was a dirty play by Kane.

Why not? It happens in the outside world with degrees of injury/death impacting the severity of punishment.
If the NHL wants to take poopty hits out of the game, they need to suspend players for longer and more severely. |

Three more wins against shoduken? I’m not convinced and I called Avs/tb final at the start of the playoffs. That goalie is nuts. 50 shots and they barely won. |

If the Rags make it through, I wonder how good the Avs forwards will look. Especially if Kadri can't come back. Still potent, but the Avs haven't faced a goalie like him (or Vassy) yet. |
