Hockey Canada just settled a lawsuit from a woman claiming 8 players on the team gang raped her when she was drunk at a gala event. 5 of the players on that team have come out and said they were not present. Canadian govt and nhl said they are doing investigations of their own and it’s not over. If players were involved they could face up to lifetime bans from the nhl.

There's 2 rinks, I go watch a lot of practices and of course games. Tickets are cheap. The town is buzzing with hockey people. I'd recommend it to anyone. I'll try to find the stream and share here.

@blazerhockey import Viktor Persson. The @Canucks 7th round pick came in and had a great season - playing almost double the amount of games in a season he's ever played. As for a potential ELC with Van? (cont)

Potentially he's in Abbotsford next season in the AHL but we will see what the summer brings.

Speaking of development camp. Nobody has ever seen Persson play at development camp, might be his time to shine to get a contract to play in Abbotsford.

From the highlights I saw this year, he looked bad in a good way.

Normally the Canucks stream the games on their website and have lots of highlights of practice. Plus Faber and many others are their giving their opinions. Would be nice to see in person but I'd definitely be going solo, nobody in my house is going to want to take that trip with me

Just spoke with Kurt Overhardt, the agent for Cal Foote. He said the due diligence was done on the alleged sexual assault at the Hockey Canada Gala in 2018 and it was determined that Cal Foote was not involved in any way. Now we're up to Foote, Makar, Fabbro and Gadjovich.

I don't doubt that. I haven't got to see a lot of live hockey the past many years. Living in a house with 3 females that don't really like hockey. My youngest has taken to telling me "No more hockey on the TV!"

I'm not sure, you would think that most would have their destinations by now. Doesn't seem like a last minute thing. With the draft only a couple days before hand.

So far without the 2022 draft class. Van should have only 15 skaters that would come. 3 or 4 goalies.
