Been waiting for a few more details to come out before going head hunting - manvanfan
I wasn't head hunting I just thought it should be bigger news than it has been, obviously Hockey Canada has been doing everything they can to keep it quiet. |

I don’t think all 8 were on the world junior team. I think from the sounds of it there may have been a couple other CHL players at the event that were involved. |

Why on earth would a player agree to a tryout with a team before the start of free agency? Birthday cookie binge ? - CanuckDon

Probably best that it's kept at least a little under wraps before other people (not you) go off their rockers looking for every person's head over it. |

It’s in September you fat midget. Of course no invites have been announced for any team. Hint. It won’t happen before free agency starts |

I think it will all come out eventually. I think the 8 will have their contracts cancelled and banned from playing in the nhl ever again. And they’d deserve it. - TurdFergeson

"For the first time since 2019, the Canucks will host a development camp this summer. The camp will take place out at UBC from July 10-15th and will feature the Canucks’ best prospects as well as some local invites to fill the camp roster."

Jack Roslovic of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Signed a 2 year 4M AAV deal. 25 yrs old.
81 GP 45 Pts.
Sets a pretty good bar for many players this year.
Nicolas Roy 78GP 39 Pts
Pavel Zacha 70GP 36 Pts
Denis Gurianov 73GP 31 Pts 1 year 2.9M
Kasperi Kapanen 79GP 32 pts
Lawson Crouse 65GP 34 Pts
Brock Boeser 71GP 46 Pts
All of these players are different types of players and have had different careers to date. |

If Rutherford was able to get something for Tanner Pearson, they could use that to trade for Zacha.
The intrigue about Zacha feels the same as when Benning traded for Richardinson. As I told Codes, I wish Van would have kept the 3rd round pick.

There’s been a lot of chatter lately about a Myers trade, and whereas some may have previously assumed that such a move would be a straight-up cap dump, industry media aren’t quite so sure.
Some, like Daily Faceoff’s Frank Seravalli, believe that there’s a genuine market out there for Myers — and after taking a good look at it, we tend to agree.

Zacha has higher pedigree/potential, plus much better goal/point totals.
Would way rather have Zacha than Dikinson on the team |

I don't think Pearson will be on the team too much longer. |

Getting anything for Myers would be a bonus at this stage.
Ive always liked Myers and appreciated what he brings to the team (size, reach, chaos). Glad he had a bounce back year. But we need to free up some cap space. |

With the Canucks needs for RD, I doubt he's a priority for creating cap space when you immediately have to use cap to fill that spot from a position of weakness when tapping into the trade or UFA market. OEL will continue to be the effort I think. Much easier to replace positionally.

But also much harder to trade. Agree that moving OEL > Myers, because that contract.... but if OEL can capably slide over to the left side, that might make moving Myers more manageable. Mmmmm |

Just play OEL with Hughes. Hughes doesn’t really have a side anyway. |
