Quinn at 4C is an absolute no
He should be on a scoring line, not a defensive line
And he shouldn’t be playing Center either

Put the kids in a position to succeed

All of it is speculation, but any of the mentioned are possibilities. And one of them would have to happen if a trade for Pool Party occurs.

Again, it's a buy low scenario, which is always more appealing then paying top dollar. While you say not impossible, I also say long shot. Just throwing out the ideas and putting in the conceptual work.

I think you're looking at a pretty complete line up.

Theres basically room for 1 forward, hopefully someone with some upside like crouse.

I be surprised if both quinn and peterka weren't ready out of camp. The playoffs kinda showed peterka as more of a lock then quinn.....

It is more than likely not. As just said by me. It is more than likely that he will be traded though. Where is anyones guess.

Well he played C in Rochester and I think that line could push some offense. And a young kid learning next to are Captain isn't a bad thing. And I was just balancing the lines. Think Quinn is were Olofsson is anyway

Liv golf. Very smooth live feed from their website. Haven't checked the app yet. I like the format.

It's streaming on YouTube and Facebook as well, so I don't think you would need one.

I'm currently streaming it on a Smart TV in my office.

The format is interesting, but there are kinks to be worked out.

The Team names and logo are incredibly cheesy, but I would assume that if this becomes popular enough, sponsors will take their place kind of like they do in soccer.

It's kind of neat and strange at the same time, but there is absolutely zero corporate sponsorship anywhere other than what the players are wearing. I would think they need to secure a TV contract in some of the bigger countries before that changes.

It's going to take a while, but I am assuming these LIV investors have deep enough pockets that they're willing to wait to recoup their money.

Fox already gave up its US Open contract two years early to NBC in 2020. 2019 was the last year they showed it.

https://www.sportsmediawa...-nbc-leaving-fox-reports/

They would be the front runners, unless Turner wanted to do it. They seem to be buying up everything. No chance ESPN, NBC or CBS pick it up. The PGA would throw a fit like a spoiled toddler.

You think $7M per will be enough to sign Fiala when he's predicted to get $8M to $9M per?
- kingcong39

I didn't think Brayden Point would get 6.5, but he did. It doesn't seem likely, especially if he wants to maximize his value. Point did a favor for his team. It feels like Fiala won't be doing the same. Billy knows his contract demands and seemed grim of the outcome.

Yeah, one player signed his deal knowing he had a chance to win multiple cups in one of the nicer areas on the continent. The other one is on a middling team in Minnesota.

A buyout would save them $1.2m in real money, and it would only cost 200k against the cap this season. 300k next season
- Hank Balling

I know we always throw out the 'just stick him on waivers' but I mean it should be a legitimate consideration if he can't be traded. They don't need the cap space, they need the roster space. He does absolutely nothing, less than Cody Eakin.

What's actually kinda funny is that he was reasonably useful when he came here, for the rest of the season.

Fiala is at the age Point was when Point signed his current $76M deal.

Point giving Tampa a 2 year allowance from the ages of 23 to 25 feels quite different then Fiala doing the same from the ages of 26 (about to turn 26 this July) to 28.

As you said, very little chance Fiala does that.

I'd take back mike foligno yesterday. Maybe help peca in Rochester...

Nick foligno having problems with ex coach Cassidy putting him on the 4th line last season.

Could be a buy low candidate with Bruins possibly rebuilding.

No it means that his play was not a net positive for Buffalo. This year, he was ranked as 880th most useful forward in (expected) overall helping your team win and 771st in actual overall helping your team win. So, he did better than his play warranted. Which says you're higher than the median, and leads us to believe he'll be as crappy or worse next year. Players like Owen Tippet, Mark Jankowski (put it away Boss), Jamie Benn, Ben Chiarot and Josh Manson were equally as crappy for their teams overall.

However, it's important to note that some players have roles on their teams. All of their stats may average out as "crappy" but sometimes the right deployment will prevent them from being a complete detriment. Jamie Benn, for example, was a quality player in the offensive zone, similar to VO. Unfortunately he was an absolute trainwreck when the puck entered his own end, which murdered his useful rates.

Bjork on the other hand.. was worthless. He provided nothing anywhere, except a pile of sludge on the ice, doing nothing.

here's an example who was the anti- Jamie Benn. Quality in the D zone, absolute tomfukkery in the Ozone. Like horrendously bad. Foligno has recently claimed that coaching was partially to blame for his awful season.

"It wasn’t just the young players who slumped their heads under Cassidy’s watch. Some of the veterans, according to a source familiar with the situation, questioned whether Cassidy’s way with the youngsters was good for the room. Dissatisfaction also touched individual performance. Nick Foligno, the team’s second-oldest player at 34, did not see eye to eye with Cassidy regarding his fourth-line deployment.

“I felt that both the message and how it was being delivered — and, more important, how it was being received — young and old,” Sweeney said of how Cassidy fell short. “That’s where I referenced both younger and older players and taking ownership of it, as I would and I do with where our roster’s at and the changes I ultimately have to make. I think the players felt they were very well prepared. But at times, young and old, they struggled. Sometimes that’s the voice that’s in their head. Ultimately, I had to make a decision that takes us in a different path.”

At 9, 16, and 28?
I’d be very happy with that.
