Either of those two; Savoie or Gautherier are my favorites at 9.
Yurov, Nazar would be a nice consolation prize as well.

- IonSabres

Nazar I can see at 16 if Kasper is gone .

If Savoie or Gautherier or Lekkerimaki are gone could see mcGroarty at 9

It's going to be a fun draft though

No, it wasn’t
Bishop is gonna be on LTIR and wouldn’t have affected Dallas’ cap all that much

I'm not big on Lekkerimaki at 9, but I have this feeling that will be their selection.
Interesting on McGroarty that high.

There are benefits to not having LTIR if you can manage it.
Cap accrual and Bonus accounting are two.

Sure
But the point is that Dallas didn’t have to move that contract, it’s just nice that they could

The benefits u mentioned aren’t worth a whole lot as far as trade capital goes

Not all that much

We weren’t gonna get a lot to take a contract like that

If the top 5 and the three you mentioned are all gone, I'd like the Sabres to take Kemell at 9.
Kasper would be amazing, albeit unrealistic at 16. Maybe Rutger survives till then, or maybe Yurov is someone to look at there.

Kemell sometimes reminds me of Filip Forsberg or sometimes lazy patrik laine..

Still a good prospect with a high calling but this pick would feel Similar to joel armia

Gerbe's they can do both, I understand what you are saying. They could do a contract or 2 a year the next 3yrs and take care of there own and still fill needs. They didn't have to take on Bishop, they just don’t want to spend real money on a Cap hit

If that’s the path let’s hope we see longer term deals with Tage, Olo and hopefully Dahlin (I know Dahlin is next year).

Yes break out and then want to go play for a winner and arb their way to UFA.

Dahlin has been here years now. What’s another year of mediocrity?

Adams can’t currently do your difference making move of signing PK Subban
. can he??

I am sure dahlin, tuch, power, skinner, okposo, girgens and the season ticket holders are wetting their pants for october

I think you could have signed a hell of a roster player for 1 year 5 mill instead of putting that on LTIR
