Is Joker a solid 2nd Pair, a good partner for Power?
Is Dahlin and Samuelsson a true 1st Pairing?

It looked good for the 8 games Power was up.
Is that enough to decide upon going forward, or should they evaluate that going forward?

Joker is a 3rd pair guy on a winning team IMO. I think he would of fit in well with a stay at home D like Johnson, if he signed. Sigh

Disagree. Dahlin's problems were his own the first 20 games of the season. He got walked 8 separate times in those first 20. He was a different player.

Dahlin's problems were on Dahlin, that part is true. What you're neglecting to include is that Joker made him even worse. That's analytically factual.

They were a bad tandem and before Samuelsson, Don was playing poker with a 2 and a 7 on the right side.

How do you know Dahlin wasn't making Joker worse? I don’t deny they were both better apart from one another, but I know what I saw the first 20 games. Dahlin was awful many of those games. Just brutal.

18-19 John Gibson was absolutely dominant. He has been pedestrian for 3 years running. It's not ridiculous to think he could be a top 20 goalie in any season in the future, but if everyone is fine with spending big on another Linus Ullmark, then fire away I guess.

they're "better" than him because of their individual performance, which does not take into account the teams they play for.

Did you know that Anton Forsberg was actually good this season? Ranked 11th overall in providing his team wins, individually. You know who he plays for?

Leading scorer Comtois withh 16 g's and 33 pts in 20-21

They played high pace very offensive this year... Our D is much better
