I also agree, I also think that for all Miller's talk about loving Vancouver and the team and wanting to play here, he'd probably want to go to a team that's closer to winning and get paid like a superstar. That's not going to be Vancouver, at least in the near future, maybe 4-5 years from now.

Careers are short. Miller ain't young (relatively). He doesn't have the luxury of waiting it out with the Canucks.

Miller made it clear to MNGT-Coaching-Ownership that something special is happening here and he wants to be a part of it. How current MNGT handles it will give us a true idea of where we are headed. I think he starts the season here which is the right thing to do.

Boudreau's comments on Pettersson are encouraging too. Says folks are in for a treat as Petey gets better. In for a MacDavid-Style year according to BB.

They'll have to do those kind of things to move on from those guys.

Nice to hear/see Rutherford talking about wanting defensive structure next year and that being what's guiding their assistant selection. I think for a lot of us, that has been the big issue.
