I lived temporarily on Ewert in the mid ‘80’s riding out a very bad recession.

The youngins on here were fortunate to not have gone through those times looking for work.

If VAN didn't have Demko they're a bottom 5 team.

After what we've seen in the playoffs the D is nowhere close to being playoff caliber.

System improvements are only an band aid. Fix the D.

Yeah, its been proven that money went WAY further then it does nowadays.

A guy wrote an article for Forbes. Comparing how far your money went. 40k in early 80s in 2000s needed 100k to have same lifestyle. In 2020 it was 200k to have that same life style.

More bad news, or stirring sh*t?


Seravalli said a league executive told him he would trade Demko right now.

Seravalli said he almost fell off his chair when he heard that.

Executive didn't know if Demko's body is going hold up because of his hip issues and said "he's going to be the next Cory Schneider".
