No, the Sens are going to Murray $6M to not play and the Leafs are going to pay him $1M to play. If it works out to be something, I have no problem. If he’s poop let the Sens pay for him to play on the Marlies. |

Mike suggested a Mrazek for Murray trade in the blog. That is what I meant. If the sens bought him and the leafs got him on the super cheap then by all means, sure.

whew!
finally got a day off from making fat stacks so i can share my thoughts
here me now and believe me later
our laffs could have the great George Vezina himself in nets and he would get run and shelled behind this sweetheart d
dufuss will have to trade one or two of the big 4 to finally get some legit hard d and grownups into the top 9
hopefully shanny will poopcan dufuss and queeb after the finals are over and end this obsession with these soft as slime, pencil neck, greedy little boys and build a true perineal contender
i still have a few miles left on the tread so i’ll wait
i was pulling for the rags but i guess I’ll root for the bolts for the 3peat now
oh the life of a loaf fan😭 |

Rags wasted an amazing performance from their goalie.
Leafs are officially better than Florida and Rangers as they were the only team to take Tampa to 7 games and that was a rested Tampa team - am I right or am I right?

Most would like to see the Leafs go deep, I’m just sharing facts and giving an alternate perspective than the “lost in first round again - they suck, blow it up” one.

well there are alternative points of view and there is common ground to start a conversation
we all want our team to win the cup
this is how one begins a logical debate
then one can discuss, in a stoic, civil manner, (without ridicule and rancor) how mlse (or whomever own the leaf) goes about winning one or more championships
but what fun would this be?
this is hockey and now, politicsbuzz where, for decades we have dug our trenches and hurled insults and used all manner of logical fallacies to support our opinions and disparage our fellow laffers

dufuss should trade them for some grownups who can handle themselves and their teammates on the ice👍
their value will never be higher👍🏿
they can go get pointz n be physically dominated when the rubber meets the road somewhere else 🤦♂️
what a (frank)ing joke🤦♂️

Provocative thinking on your part.
Many believe that regular season and playoffs require different styles in order to be successful. Leafs, on the other hand, believe that their offensive style of game will work for them, even in the playoffs. Leafs are not alone. Edmonton follows a similar template believing that in order to win they need to focus on outscoring the other guys (Tampa believes they can win if they are effective in stopping the other guys from scoring).
I think it would be exceptionally good for hockey if the offensive game were promoted and the defensive game was more limited and restrained by the officiating. How could you not love the Calgary/Edmonton series? It was played on a race track with lots of goals, bad goaltending, hopeless defending and a thrill every minute.

No.
Even if they win they arent.
Dynasty's are 4 consecutive championships
But they would be the closest thing |

I picked the leafs and avs in the finals. I was almost right. The cup finalist came out of that matchup lol
I also had the avs beating the leafs in the finals. |

You really are over analyzing things. Regardless of style, the Avs and the Lightning are the two best teams in the league. There is a small group of teams just below them. The Leafs’ series gives a pretty good sense of how close they are. So ground to make up and work to be done.
Comparing the Leafs and Oilers because they both play offensive games is absurd. The two teams are in very different places. |

This is where I am. First of all in my playoff box pool I had picked almost all Colorado and Tampa players (in my other pool I picked Toronto to beat Tampa; I don't look at that pool anymore). I am going to win that pool, I think. After the Leafs lost I wanted to see Tampa move on selfishly, but also as a proving stick to where the Leafs are.
"You want to be the best, you gotta beat the best"
Well, poop. We're not the best.
But we're getting there.

“Leafs got lucky Vasi wasn’t great”. You sound like John “my teams and players are always better sometimes we just make it easy for other teams” Cooper. Alternative viewpoint is the Leafs were that much better than other teams they Bolts have met & that’s why Vasi “wasn’t great” - it’s actually possible believe it or not.
Time to move on? That’s pretty rich coming from you don’t you think?
Side note my original comment was a joke folks - calm down and enjoy the summer. Good lord. |
