Question: World Wars, US president assassinated, World Wide pandemics and NEW YORK RANGERS' SC parades?
Answer: What has only has happened once in the past 82 years! (CORRECTION: 81 YEARS)!

I'd hope not! I would think Rangers' fan would be A LOT more knowledgeable!
Plus, that guy has been trolling the Pens' site the whole playoffs! Except he stopped today. Wonder why? |

People have a sour taste. It’ll pass. Facts are they far exceeded anyones expectations. No one should or will be fired. Build on this entire season, the good and bad. Learn what they can do better and grow from the 20 games they played. That’s what will help the most imo…playing so many playoff games. They got a more than a taste and had success doing it
It is a very very good time to be a fan of the NYR - Slimtj100

Friedman saying CHI is open to trading Dach. Drafted 3rd right after Kakko, he’s a big young center that plays with an edge. I wouldn’t mind giving up what it would take to get him. |

I saw that too
Kakko to LA seems like the most logical if they did trade him. |

He can improve on that. He’s a 21 year old center that has size and plays with an edge. He’s exactly the type of center I’d trade Kakko for. I’m comfortable with Chytil as the 2C going into the season if it meant we added Dach. |

I think it’s clear we desperately need a center we can rely on to take important faceoffs which we would not have if we went with mika, chytil, dach, goodrow |

Mika was 52% this year, Goodrow was 49.4. I agree we’d have to bring in a 4th line center to win draws and have Goodrow take some late game draws until Chytil/Dach got better, but to pass up on Dach bc of faceoffs would be a huge mistake. By the time Mika is starting to slow down Chytil/Dach would be a great backup plan. |

(1) Dach is an RFA who struggled this past season like most Hawks players did.
(2) Dach's stats: (G-9), (A-17), (PTS-26), (GWG-0), (PPG-2), (PPA-4)
GM PL - 70
TOI/GM - 18:02
RTG: (-18)
Shots: 116 ... (SH% - 7.8%)
Faceoffs: (Won - 179, Lost - 366), (FOW% - 32.8%)
An easy NO as to wanting Dach acquired at any cost through any means.
A possible center option pending Copp's & Strome's futures is Canes UFA Vincent Trocheck: (G-21), (A-30), (PTS-51), (GWG-3), (PPG-6), (PPA-6)
GM PL - 81
TOI/GM - 17:52
RTG: (+21)
Shots: 168 ... (SH% - 12.5%)
Faceoffs: (Won - 680, Lost - 565) ... (FOW% - 54.6%)
Of course, that's only should both Copp & Strome depart, and Trocheck officially becomes an UFA. |

Will Cuylle still rolling. Helped extend his series to a game 7 tomorrow
Kid has 31 points in 24 playoff games and oh yeah. He’s the captain. |

If reports are true that Chicago is looking to trade Dach it’s a bit of a red flag.
They drafted his brother last July and teams don’t usually give up on big centers
Who knows if the Rangers have any interest any way. But it’s definitely rushing things to start making line combos with Dach in it.

Will be a really interesting off-season. Definitely possible the Rangers average age goes down even lower next season. That’s WILD!
Just need some damn centers in the pipeline! |

#NYR Kaapo Kakko said no one gave him any explanation for the decision to scratch him. He just saw the lineup.
For real though - picklerick
So it was handled like a high school play, sounds professional. |

Most lineups are done the same way on most teams....Ya see the lineup. Coach isn't holding their facking hands. Gallant isn't walking around locker room or calling guys in office on game day. Geez, they are professional athletes...Pretty much happens same way in Jr.s, College, etc.
It's kind of obvious who is playing where on AM skate when players see what color practice jersey is hanging in their stall. Only difference is here is that it happened to be last game of season |

Sorry but in this case if Kakko is pissed it's warranted. It's not about hand holding. Gallant isn't even trying to be accountable for his actions. What a chicken poop move to do it like that. Surprising that so many players speak so highly of him.
You do poop like this when you make a dumb decision and you don't want someone arguing and exposing your stupidity. |
