How about this?
- JRR1285
so, what you are saying is lets go into the season with 575k of cap space and only 6 defensemen, one of them a rookie

i strongly believe we need a center who can win important faceoffs and he is not currently on the roster |

Zib was pretty good. But I agree they need someone else.
We can talk about Bergeron, where's TJ? |

The Rangers need to trade for one of those LTIR players so they can have more cap. |

we really have some serious cap constraints in 2022-23
my belief has always been they'll go into a season with 13 forwards, 7 defensemen and 2 million in space for callups for minor injuries/sickness that dont qualify for LTIR

at this point I'd be pretty shocked if Kakko isn't traded
this whole thing is a weird thing to come back from - jimbro83
If Kravs can comeback, this thing with KK will blow over too!! |

I'm not even talking about Kakko being trade bait because of game 6
I am looking at just the amount of wingers here and where everyone fits, part of it being Kakko would probably need to be signed for more than most of them will be making
if Lafreniere is truly going to be top 6 forward, it needs to be 1st or 2nd line line RW
and then Kravtsov just signed a 1 year deal where he cant be sent down to AHL
and Blais is going to be back
those are the thing s making me believe Kakko could be trade bait more than anything else

I don't disagree with your logic but given his history we shouldn't be trading anyone to make space for Kravtsov. I'm hoping for the best with him but I think it's 50/50 as to whether he's on the team come opening day.
His contract means he either makes the team or is traded, and that's assuming they even intend to give him a shot at all |

I think Motte gonna warrant more than that on open market
I could see him getting 3 years 6 mil
this cap is gonna be tight as (frank) - jimbro83
Which is why I feel they cannot pay Nemeth $1M to not play for us. |

Ahh ok, that definitely makes more sense and can be a possibility!!!
I think a huge problem is our back up goalie situation. Some may not agree with me but Id like to limit Igor to 55-60 games at the most. The reason being of keeping him somewhat fresh for some long playoff runs I think/expect will happen in the coming years. We really have our window opening now for what the next 5-6 years? Having him play all those extra games in the playoffs will wear on him and Id love to keep him for the next 10+ years!! With our limited cap space we need someone who is dependable yet cheap!! |

I just don't know if they wanna pay Kakko the 2 million + next year
when I say those names, I am not even talking about Cuylle and Othmann being in camp trying to win spots

Only way I entertain a Kakko trade is to upgrade the 2C spot |

I should probably never buy a jersey again. The last 4 jersey's I have purchased in order:
Richards
Gaborik (though I think this was post trade and I wore it to an LAK game)
Nash
McDonagh - JRR1285
That's why I always go retro! Love finding an old one that no one else will have. I've gotten so many comments (or even questions!) about my Fotiu jersey!! |

they gotta get rid of Nemeth, all 2.5 mil of his salary to a team not on his 8 team NTC
what a goddamn lousy signing that was

really was terrible. Nemeth was never this bad prior tho. Something was going on this year with him and all the missed games |

Yeah, when they signed him I remember thinking that's ok, he's a tradeable commodity. Then he went downhill. Not sure what we will have to include to sweeten the pot, but I don't care. Pay the price with picks or prospects that are unlikely to see time on Broadway and move on. |
