Ya, the Turcotee/Dach type center is what I would want if we traded Kakko. Similar age, similar struggles so far, similar draft position. Out of the 3 Turcotte has probably proven the least with Dach and Kakko having almost identical numbers - nyrangers9479
I'm not sure I see why the Kings would rather have Kakko over Turcotte, and same with Blackhawks, why would they want Kakko over Dach?
even if both those teams have those guys on the block, why would they want Kakko, just a different underachieving guy

Copp isnt a good enough 2C. He mostly a winger to begin with. Hes put up 40 or more points once. Panarin needs a legit center IMO - nyrangers2
we NEED to get Panarin legitimate linemates including a center that can win faceoffs at least 54% of the time (don't question my numbers). period. end of story. |

I don’t get the Copp hating. He was awesome for us. He has 18 pts in 16 games. So he had a bad series vs TB, like everyone else did
The only problem with him is he has the same faceoff issues we can’t seem get away from. |

I agree with that
I mean, Barkov sucked vs Tampa, does that mean he sucks?
I'd love Copp back if the money makes sense

Do not hate Copp at all. Just dont think he is a 2C. He has primarily played 3rd line with the Jets and is better suited in that role. Maybe he slots in as 2nd line winger with Panarin? Just like Vatrano I would love for him to stay but at the right money and role. Motte just seems like the only one who will be paid appropriately and in the correct roles
They have to maximize Panarins skill set with a better center next year or shift him up with zib.

You can say the whole Panther team sucks with only scoring 3 goals |

Copp is fine for the right price and if he’s the 3rd best player on that line. Still need to win more faceoffs |

Still a ton of moves to be made, of course. But, I think they have to at least entertain the idea of Kreider trying RW again with Zib and Panarin, move the kids up to 2nd line minutes and let Copp center Vatrano and Blais on the 3rd. |

They don't appear to track them. I went to the SHL site and found his profile but there are no FO numbers. |

Yea I did that too dumbass that’s why we need jimmy
I just happen to read a few things and it looks like Gustav is def in the running for the 4th line. If he can win draws that would be a plus |

I wouldn't mind someone who is better at f/o's but it really isn't a big deal to me. I'm pretty sure the last series proved you don't have to be great at f/o's |

They don’t need an all star who can win draws consistently. Just someone to call on in that huge moment of a game where you really have to win it. They are magnified in the playoffs is the thing. It makes it easier to win games if you’re good at it that’s for sure |

imo you guys go nuts on f/o's
Got destroyed in the first 2 series at the dot, they win both
Had a slight edge in f/o's against Tampa, they lose
I'm not saying I wouldn't mind them being better, but I would much rather have someone who can score 5v5 than win a f/o |
