Best idea that I've seen here so far is to make a trade for Chandler Stephonson and make him our 2C. Golden Knights are definitely NOT going to want to trade him, but perhaps a 3 for 2 deal might entice them since they are really facing some serious cap problems.

If they trade him, he wont go alone, any team trading for him will likely have to take on another one of their contracts that they need to off load, whether it be Dadonov, Karlsson or Martinez

How bout we give them Nils for Willy K (they keep half)? So they save 2 millionish, with Nils on the roster. We get a very serviceable 3C for 3 mill who’s best years came under GG
This could be one of my better trades I’ll even throw in Gauthier if they want. It may require a sweetener

Well they may have to tho, and they are still saving money on the deal. Teams wanna (frank) them I’ve heard. Right in the ass without lube. They are in a picklerick
Maybe someone would take Willy and all of his contract tho I’ll give ya that. We obviously wouldn’t. He’s coming off of a pretty bad year i think that would be a good buy low guy

Teams don’t retain 50% when there’s 5 more years on a contract, especially cap strapped teams
