Sim draft I did via the site below.

Is there a goalie worth taking in the middle rounds? I think you should draft one every year.

One more.

This would be home run first 6 picks for the Sabres, not that it will happen.

I'd be giving high 5's to my children, who will be wondering why daddy is dancing around like an idiot.

Chances they use all their picks? If so, then I think you can use one on a project goalie.

Toss a dart at Sergei Ivanov in the 5th round.

Sounds good.

I don't remember the last time the Sabres had an impact player whose last name started with an 'I'. In fact, never.

We're due.

Think the Sabres are gonna get good players at both there early picks. 28 is the intriguing one. It's a good pick for a trade. Be it trade up, for a player or back for more assets.

The top 6/4 talent extends well into the second round. Personally I'd rather use at least 1 of them for an actual player. Even though draft night will be fun with three picks.

Having Jiricek fall to 9 would be unbelieveable to me, only to be surpassed by Cutter falling to 16.

Cory Pronman posted a great article yesterday which he had anonymous feedback from NHL Scouts and Executives from several teams...
One of the comments about which prospects could rise up was Cutter slipping into the top 4.

I have a hard time believing Gauthier slips past the Ottawa, Detroit, Columbus trio of teams.

Bichsel is intriguing at 16 for me, let alone falling that far back. However, he was one guy cited has having too much hype attached to him by the public evaluators around that area, so maybe he falls back into the 20/30's

And Wheeler said in his mock that Nazar is in a similar scenario.

Our Blackhawk friends may not want to hear it, but I bet we could get him for just 16 and Rosen.

Ya, they were saying Kemmel and Yurov could fall back 10 - 15 spots.

Walking out with Jiricek, Gauthier and Bichsel would address alot of the need to get some grit into the lineup...2-3 years from now anyway.

The objective is to provide a long term extension upon the trade.

If we got Jiricek and Bichsel, and Johnson got his head out of his A$$ and signed. Joker becomes a nice chip
