he's still a legitimate top 4D prospect that's a year away from the NHL. That has value regardless. As an LHD I'd argue to trade him or Brysen anyway.

I'm not a fan of Brysen myself...but he is a perfect 7th Dman though since he can play both sides on 3rd pair. There is value in that.
