Fired may be too far, but it is his job to acquire talent. And not only is Necas talented, he fits our timeline. At least inquiring is his job. So refusal to do your job would result in termination in most employments. Now, whether a deal is struck or not, should have no bearing unless he never makes any moves and we still suck. But suggest simply sitting and waiting on nothing but kids to hopefully develop into something isn't GMing.
