From various Mocks, it would seem that 3 of those would be there at 9
Wright, Slafv, Cooley, Nemec, Jiricek, Gauthier, Kemmel, Savoie seem to be in the top 7 in some form or fashion.
Anyone's guess, generally speaking those seem to be the top guys...Nazar, Lekkerimaki, Kasper, Korchinski, Yurov, Minty usually come next in some way.

Who knows though, I'm sure we'll see somebody surprise us.

I would consider using the second round pick to get tyler brennan, best NA goalie in draft and then use the third rd pick to get topias leinonen, best euro goalie in draft

Many of you guys follow this more closely than I do, but if it started veering off the rails at 3 again, would you really be surprised? Even when guys do fall to us, Sabres are still known to go off-board.

Curious if picking 16 stops them from reaching for their favorite prospect at 9. Thinking of McGroarty.

I think the Sabres have "their type", placing certain characteristics higher than some public scouts/Prospect Evaluators do...so going off-public boards. McGroaty seems like their type...same for Savoie and Nazar.

While this is true. This years nhl draft is considered a really good draft just not Mcdavid type elite talent at the top

So the Sabres potentially could draft 3 good players

Would love if Cutter fell to 9, and then Nazar at 16, if that happened what ever happened with 28 would be a bonus to me.
