Great breakdown Anthony. All choices there are interesting.

Ultimately though, I think Sweeney will be lazy and just promote Sacco.

According to this, they are currently interviewing Jim Montgomery, Jay Leach, Joe Sacco, Spencer Carbery and David Quinn

Anybody on that list except Sacco is a good choice. Trotz makes little sense to me. I get it, but most Bruins fans hated Claude for having a defense oriented system. Those same people will not like Trotz.

This is exactly why Sacco is going to be the choice.

A big fat NO on Sacco, a big fat NO on Quinn, if Montgomery has a substance abuse issue, Boston is the LAST place he would need to be. I doubt Trotz would want to work for this management team and be saddled with the personnel moves (and management style...meaning Neely micro-management) done here.

They'll hire the coach who is willing to work for a thousand bucks a game.

I'm all in for a tank job for Bedard. I just don't trust Sweeney to handle the job.

We're a huge part of the way there with injuries.

All it takes is for Sweeny to frank up discussions with Bergeron. How hard can that be?

You should probably delete your account, your word adds about as much value as James Neal's contract does for the Oilers.
Dishonesty isn't a good trait, you lying liar.
