Isles fans love Dobson, some think he's their new #1 dman ahead of really solid dmen like Pelech and Pulock so that's a bold statement
They laugh and hang up if you offer Boeser for Dobson
edit: saw your edit..dont think they'd do Miller for Dobson straight up either. - Nucker101
Maybe not, but they just fired the reining Jack Adams winner, and they expect to be cup contenders. So they will do something… I’d take either of the P’s instead of Dobber |

You are sniffing glue man. They wouldn’t do Dobson straight across for Miller let alone add a first. - TurdFergeson
If I were the Isles, I wouldn’t do that deal. In fact, if I were the GM of any team other than the Canucks I wouldn’t give up anything of substance for Miller. My best offer would be like what Florida paid for Giroux.
But as a Canucks fan, I hope for a dynamic player on the cusp of NHL greatness AND a high draft pick! |

How good is Holmstrom? - Nucker101
An offensively skilled player who competes hard. Holmström is a good skater and stands out with really good hands and impressive puckhandling skills. Quite shifty and a player that can do the unexpected offensively. Has a good wrister and his two-way game is underrated. Great character and team player. (EP 2019)
Father: Jonas Holmström
He is trusted to be on the ice in all situations and he is just as good on the box play as he is on the powerplay, Hockeyprospect.com 2019
He has elite acceleration and top speed and he can handle the puck and stickhandle his way through traffic while maintaining high speed, Future Considerations 2019
With the puck on his stick, he can be dazzling, whether deking past defenders, or fooling them with passes from the behind the net, McKeen's Hockey 2019
A deft skater with some explosiveness to his game.. has remarkable passing ability and likes to set up teammates from below the goal line, Draftin Europe 2018
He put up 43 points as an AHL rookie |

I think Miller is worth more than Giroux, but hey you do you |

McMichael is pretty meh to me. Don’t know much about Iorio - Nucker101
Iorio on the breakout is basically Han Solo with a blaster: Well-placed laser-beam after well-placed laser-beam. He misdirects opponents by looking relaxed, even vulnerable, before firing. He looks off his target, skates into the lane, then holds the deception until the puck’s released, even for long-range, three-line passes. Nice breakdown

But he will be a UFA in one year, and if he’s going to test free agency I could get him for cash, and still have my draft selections and prospects. I just don’t believe he’s the kind of difference maker worth trading a bunch of futures away for. |

GM's disagree normally when its trade deadline time and the Stanley Cup playoff revenue is calling or they get fired option is on the table. I'm just basing most of my opinion on previous deals. I'm not the idiot GM in the real world making most of these deals, yet they happen every year. I know as Canucks fans, we generally don't get things our way, but I still don't think the options I have listed are too out of the realm of possibility. Hopefully the Canucks don't pull a Canuck and let Miller
A) Walk for nothing
or
B) Sign him to a 8 yr 9 million dollar deal. |
