He sometimes says thigs that he thinks makes sense without any sources so context is important when quoting him - Nucker101
JR & PA wouldn't be doing their jobs if they weren't listening to trade offers?
Two weeks to the draft, I'm counting on significant changes.

explain this...because a rantanen caliber player should be #1 overall in this draft. - Nucker101
In this draft yes. In the 2015 draft would you have put him 1oa? |

IF we got the 2 OA for Miller
Trade it to CBJ for the 6th and 12 OA
Then the Canucks have 3 firsts
Hopefully 1 of D Jirichek or Nemec at 6
C Marco Kasper at 12
and
D Pickering at 15
Win the Draft...
Let the day drinking begin! - carsonagenic
Nope on Kasper, everything I’ve seen/read points to a mid-skill two way centre safe pick.

Canucks are listening on trade offers on both JT Miller and Brock Boeser according to Dreger.
Strong interest in both players according to Dreger.
Canucks not just looking for draft picks. Looking for good young NHL players in return. - manvanfan
If they trade Brock I’ll be sooooo happy 🥰 |

Name 5 that were taken 1oa in the last 25 years. - K-man25
You want me to divide it up into drafts without generational talents or what?
Ekblad, Johnson, Dahlin. Honestly Hedman, Doughty would have been #1 if not for a better forward.
Each draft is different and in this draft, I haven't heard any say Wright, Slaf, Cooley are generational talents. So why wouldn't Jiricek if he profiled as a true #1 D be in serious contention for 1st overall?
He may or may not in the future but I sure haven't heard anyone talk that way about him yet.
It might happen, Mtl might take Jiricek #1. I'll wait and see. |

If it's true that NJ is willing to give Jonny Hockey 10M a season for term. I don't see why they wouldn't do that for Miller also on an extension.
I don't like Slaf as much as someone. Not saying he is overrated but he's at 5 for me and not higher. - manvanfan
He very well could be a star. Huge ceiling. But definitely not as safe a pick as the other kids projected to go top 5 |

The top 3 projected forwards are all different. Center with strong 200 foot game, electric scoring center and big power scoring winger.

If NYR don't trade Buchnevich, are they in the finals? Gave up a PPG player for a 2nd and bottom 6 player |

Could it be that The Flow sucks? I'm with Donnie on this. Carried and giftwrapped O minutes and PP time. Sell and save the cap hit. |

I don't know if you have seen since you haven't been around but here is Chris Peter's draft rankings. I would call it very reasonable level headed takes on his first round.

He played a more complete game last year. I just don’t think he’ll ever warrant the money. |

Sorry, hit the flag by mistake!
This guy doesn’t seem too impressed with this draft. Maybe we should be looking to deal for picks in next year’s draft. |

👍🏻 would not be a surprise if Kuzy could replace him for 12% of the cap hit |
