In case anyone is curious about the blogging situation I'll give you the update:
I've stepped back into the part-time role I wanted and I'm excited to continue posting on this more relaxed basis. Michael Ghofrani (former Sabres blogger) expressed interest in coming back aboard to contribute content and I relayed that to Eklund. No word yet on that.
I wish I had time to do this full-time, multiple times a week but I work a lot and live in a house that needs constant work so it's just not possible for me. I'm happy with where I'm at. - Hank Balling
You Bastard!! 😉😉 just kidding Hank. With as long as we take these blogs and all the posting. Buddy 1 good blog a week is enough. Some real knowledgeable hockey posters here, it's not like we don't change to like 15 different topics in 1 blog |

Watch the Knights trade Eichel and get way more than Buffalo got and it saves the franchise and sets them up for years. |

how many goalie prospects are signed?
one is going to walk away in 14 months
so that leaves one that may or may not sign
you think this team is so stacked they don't need to draft the best goalie prospect in this draft at pick 41?
there is a reason we have these picks, to fill holes
goalie is a hole on our pipeline
go get your guy, if they have one with a rating around 50
feel free to pile on that logic some more though - homiedclown
Incorrect - Portillo is best friends with dahlin and roommates last year with Power. Don’t confuse a smart kid who wants to experience another year at a great business schools with a kid who fled to LA. He will sign with Buffalo as will Levy. Johnson is the one who is 50/50 |

"Act seriously"? Or "act, seriously"? - Wetbandit1
"Sister" Act 2: Back in the Habit, act-tually. Look Who's Talking Too, too, touché, or did you think I wouldn't go there? That's right: I Know What You Did Last Summer.
It's pretty simple: There Are 8 Simple Rules For Dating MY Teenage Daughter but oh no, that name is too long and now it's just 8 Simple Rules. And then there was Two Guys a Girl and a Pizza Place and then it was Two Guys and a Girl which was not what it sounds like but still enjoyable.
In conclusion, I just got the txt. its chiqorin for bjustlejuice.
Understand? |

It’s summer. The off season should be pretty dormant aside from another bishop or two. Get em in when ya can. Appreciate the work! |

Until either one signs they are not in the Organization, we have drafted 5 goalies in the last 10yrs I believe, only 1 is still here, it would be a good idea if Adams used some of that draft capital on a goalie |

Oh my god worst back-scrolling ever, thank god I didn't read any of the Clown vs. The Green Blur...
They are up against those other two for biggest homo-erotic love affair on Hockeybuzz, all-time. And right before our very eyes.
Do you all not realize? We are seeing History and we should appreciate it while it lasts, because Hank is going to do the Hanky Panky and turn himself around, have a quiet life, a handshake, some carbon monoxide (no alarms) and (no surprises)...
And we all know the blog will boil down into a nightly internet, web 1.0 keyboard gang-bang between Fitz, homie, Boss, DirtyDan and Ion while the rest of us pop in every now and then asking for the giant meteor...
Unless Eklund finds a new blogger...
This is absolute non-sense by any human standard. I think the lot of you should take self-imposed timeouts and do what la did and go and find your inner Brokeback Mountain in the literal mountains and learn how to act seriously. - BeadyEyedDouche

I didn't include him on the list but I think there's a better-than-zero chance the Sabres trade for the Minion. Depends if Bergeron wants to come back. Swayman passed Ullmark this year and that's a lot of cash to tie up in a #2. - Hank Balling
Why help Boston out of their cap trouble and bad signing?
Also, Ullmark's actual salary is higher then his $5M AAV this season and next, which means he is automatically out of consideration as being a future Sabre.

Yea know last season I was more on the Tuch train with Kyle as the A, but Kyle's the (frank)ing man and more people should know it.

Give Kyle the C, let him know he earned it from his leadership , absolutely no doubt.
However, this is his last season here...the C does NOT mean Continuous employment.
He has been a very good soldier, but the youth movement is coming fast. |

I don't always side with Gerbe's intuitions and hints and whatnot, but I think I side with him regarding the Russian thing. This iteration of the Sabres has shown they're not afraid of Russians and I think they're going to take advantage of hesitant teams in two weeks, given the opportunity. If Yurov slips to 16, I think they jog to the podium.
In a relatable tangent, I hope they make Russians comfortable once they're in NY. Kisakov is all alone, I don't know how his English is coming along. He could use a buddy in Rochester. Or at least a Russian/bilingual development coach. Seeing how Antipin was handled was embarrassing. |
